this guy plays it right now http://en.justin.tv/sammykun quality isn't that good though.
why don't you download just disc1 and test it yourself?

Im no authority on RPGs though I have played my fair shaire of them, but Ill post impressions when I get it downloaded. NTSC box comes in handy sometimes.
I dont think its fair to judge this game on a couple of streaming videos, I mean since when is watching someone play an RPG fun?

OT, I know, but PS3 isn't region free. Region codes can be put on games to lock them to a certain region, there is just no game yet where this happened. But this doesn't mean it will never happen...

I don't know why, but I find this game highly addictive. So far it's been my favorite JRPG experience in this console generation -- and that's saying something, since I was never able to get past the first 20 mins of Star Ocean for the PS2.
Not sure exactly what it is about this game, especially since it has some ridiculous stuff, but as of right now it's soaking up a lot of time.

For anybody out there biting their nails waiting for this game to drop for their region, I would highly suggest you give Lost Odyssey a try if you havent already. Its not the prettiest game, its not the best story, it doesnt have the best cinematics, its not a lot of things; but Ill be goddamned if I am not playing the shit out of it. I dont remember the last time I played one game through to completion without playing some other games in between sessions.
I dont know what it is about it, its so formulaic on the surface that it doesnt appear deserving of your attention, but there is something about it that keeps me coming back.
Sorry for off-topic. Its just that I was waiting with baited breath for Star Ocean, but now I can't put Lost Odyssey down to even try it. Just thought I would share.
* I would highly recommend installing it to the harddrive to anyone out there considering playing LO. Loadtimes are practically nonexistent and apparently that was one of them major gripes with the game.
