The patch I posted previously is the full package due to how much it updated (For some reason.) I answered your PM as well but perhaps it didn't arrive yet or something.
These optional language files builds ontop of this though they are largely untested but should work just fine unless they require some registry change or similar setting to decide upon which language the game uses.

WHO THE FUCK thought it was a good idea to limit GFWL to 30ms? What the fuck is this shit? My friend and I wanted to play co-op, we logged in but he can't see my servers nor I his because gosh darn it our ping ranges between 22-31, and poor little GFWL can't handle anything above 30.
This is the dumbest fucking thing I've seen since Michael Jordan left the NBA for a career in Golf.

because no LAN connection should EVER come close to a 30ms ping ... therefor its a PROTECTION to STOP people (commonly referred to as idiots) like YOU from playing a pirated game ONLINE.

i don't believe for a second that this goes for legit game using legit means of playing the game online. They probably use hamachi or something to emulate a (v)PN.

Ah yeah I didn't think of such a possibility, might be right about that.
EDIT: Wasn't some other people on these forums mentioning hamachi and LIVE causing problems due to this 30ms limit?

I lost my assault squad ! What the heck happened ? I have only 4 of the previously 5 squads now in the campaign overview !
halp ! I travelled to another planet, began a mission and it had deployed the devastators instead of the assault marines (I never use the devastating idiots) Now I don't see them !

The assault squad goes away after Angel Gate and reappears in terminator armor in the next Angel Gate mission. Get it, as it is amazing.

I don't like them. Well, FUCK, I'm sooo screwed. After I found the assault marines I never used them. They are lowlevel, and I sold all their equipment for XP, lol.
I use the force commander + assaults for tanking/rushing. And I leave scouts + tactical in second row for ranged support.
Fucking shitty design choice
I didn't like the devastators at first because they were slow and did moderate damage. Well of course later they may be awesome, but assault marines were awesome from the start, jetpacking on the enemies nicely and throwing them around.
Shit, got to go try one of the defense sidemission, fingers crossed that the assault will be available again.

Do the next Angel Gate mission, get the terminator armor. It is fantastic.
But you need high level equipment for it, and even then, not everything is available for use with it.

That's right. GFWL blocks all LAN connections with pings over 30ms. Players can't join the hosted game on the list, or often just can't see it there.
Another blatant anti-Hamachi move. I remember COH: Opposing Fronts had something similar against Hamachi, and LAN connections timed out.
Of course, Hamachi's used by pirates to play cracked games online, but these moves also fuck legit customers up. Yes, they have access to the official lobbies and such, but the way Hamachi works cuts some of the lag, as there's no "middleman" once the computers are connected with each other.
Now it's not even an option for people with legit copies.

Also, what's up with that energy shield of the force commander ? Overpowered much ? In the last mission I played I enabled the shield to see what it does and it was enabled until the end of the mission. My bizatch never lost 1 hitpoint and he was in the middle of the zerg clusterfuck.
And what about the remote detonation of the scouts ? Cloak, place it, run like hell, kaboom !

yeah the scout + stealth + explosives (any explosives) is OP. cluster mines = take out small group, explosive packs = take out buildings (for good) and stationary guns, remote detonators = kill everything on the screen ^^ (well half of it anyway). + it levels all buildings and covers around (so enemy is in the open). Also boss fights are a bit easy with them ( stack up on explosives and use them all up on boss = fight becomes piece of cake *g*.

r0fl, the game was pretty easy so far.
And then came Angel Gate, my laid back attitude got my entire 4 squads pwned.
Next re-try, pwned them in 16 mins. Had to make some modifications to Force commander's items to make him survive, whilst Cyrus sniped the massive bugs.
Freakin POS Terminator armor doesn't allow you to equip frag grenades, especially since I pumped up the stat and got the unlimited Frag grenade (energy defendant).
So I gave it to the force commander (terminator armor).

Well, my suggestion is to not try and take more power generators after the initial 3. Teleport (or whatever) the force commander to the gate and have him take the gate and close it (it takes forever), while the other units stand outside and just prevent anything from entering and disrupting the force commander. Also, make sure one of the three power generators is the closest one to the gate, so if a squad has to run for cover to replenish marines, they can reach the fight back quickly.

Also, all other methods that are through that "-dev" command will only unlock paints and colors as far as I know. Also, in order to use the "-dev" switch, you can run the game using method #1 from my guide (link in sig).
