Anyone know if and when Halo 3 will be released on PC,Halo 1 and Halo 2 have been released,so I assume Halo 3 can't be to far away,I look forward to being able to run Halo 3 with actual decent graphics,resolution compared to the crap xbox 360 version we got a while back.

why would we want such a thing on the glorious pc? we have plenty of good fps games, so whats the point of a mediocre one?

Halo 3 is a great co-op fps tbh. If they will release it on PC, it will probably be a year or two from now.

I played the 2nd episode on pc, and I was stunned by how bad it was... it has good scores on reviews only because the console crowd doesn't have enough decent fps titles to make a comparison... if #3 is similar to the previous ones, it can stay where it is, thank you.

Halo 3 is a pretty good game, but in good porting fashion devs will crappify it just to piss PC gamers off when porting it to teh PC. You should either forget it or just play it on teh XBox.

Halo games starting with Halo2 are mainly focused on multiplayer anyway, they aren't getting great reviews and hype because of incredible single player, it's because of multiplayer.

Multi player sucks to. Played all 3 Halo games. Friend has em.
Shooting lighting bolt guns at ppl and shit....I like realistic shooters...or rather, shooters with realistic weapons.

Yeah but in the end Halo 1 and 2 run really nice days with current hardware,I think when Halo 3 does finally get released for pc,it should run great considering how fast graphics cards are now days.
I also remember Halo 1 when it first got released,can't remember what graphics card I had at the time,but did the game run like crap,the sound was stuttering the lot,in the end I gave up on it and waited a couple of years before trying again.

We got the first two games on pc,so we may as well get the last one,besides I really liked Halo 3,the game itself was great,I played the game all the way through twice,easy then medium,it's just the graphics totally sucked,low resolution upscaled crap,I know the xbox 360 is no pc,but it is definitely more caperbal of doing a better version than what bungie gave us.

As long as the Halo 3 port turns out roughly as good as the Halo 2 port turned out then I'll be happy enough I spose.
The Halo 2 port runs fine,could of done with a bit more of a graphics upgrade though.
I got no interest in consoles,owned and got rid of both the xbox 360 and a ps3,there just a cheap mans pc,most games on the xbox 360 run at low to medium graphics settings,low resolution and most of the games tend to run no more than 30fps,some cases less,compare that to the pc version of the same game with it's 1920x1080 resolution or higher,very high or ultra graphics settings,AA 16xQ,and a frame rate anywhere from 60fps,100fps or higher depending on your rig.

I think they allready done that didn't they,just found the link,it's called goldeneye source,they have gone and remade all the exact goldeneye maps from the n64 game with the halflife 2 engine http://goldeneyesource.net/ looks really good check out the screenshots http://goldeneyesource.net/index.php/media/category/1
