So, basically, the only real complaint about the game is that it's too "Arcade" like?

Sounds awesome to me.

Last time I checked, the PC had a pretty serious drought of arcade flying titles .. instead concentrating on boringly (IMO! Put the flamethrower down, guys! Razz) realistic flight sims. Myself? I ADORE titles like Ace Combat, Crimson Skies and Weapons Over Normandy.

All max 1680x1050 8xAA and I never go below 60 FPS, yay for optimized game at least.

Very optimized indeed, but I find the controls really sucky, especially that "free" mode or what ever in the tutorial. I guess it's something to get used to, but anyway.
Running at highest res here 2560x1600 and really smooth, no lag what so ever.

I get some lags with everything on max, but hey, thats what max settings and directx 10.1 are for Very Happy

DX10.1 mainly helps with performance from how I understand it, or at least that's the main use if it in the games it's implemented in so far. Very Happy
(Clear Sky and HAWX with a few others being announced and Windows 7 uses it for it's "Aero" effects from what I know, would probably be different with more titles supporting it if NVIDIA also utilized it)

Really optimized game, plays great with a x360pad.

Assistance off camera looks nice too, tough it takes some time to perfectly control the plane while the camera moves with the target.

Also, it's a must to know how to control the plane in ass off camera on expert settings Very Happy
It's sometimes hard, though not on the gamepad.

Runs really smooth in dx9, 60 fps constantly, but i haven't seen any difference in graphics...It's just me or...?

upd. The demo is not saving profiles, so to try all the 3 "official" demo planes you'd have to keep the demo launched =_=
No multiplayer in PC demo also.Yep.No co-op.
