Why i find more confortable the free style camera mode (lctrl thing)?
I dont know but i find the normal camera too strongh when u go to the right or left :S

OMG assistance off camera is the most annoying and confusing ever! 
Cockpit is fun, the game looks good, but you can see the game was made to be played with the camera on chase, because flight dynamics are centered above the plane, not in its middle, as they should be. Still fun.

BTW guys, the game has a DX10 executable (and in Vista, you can right click in Game Explorer and select "Play Tom Clancy's ... DX10"). This gives another tab of options in the menu, called DX10, which allows for some nice settings, like SSAO and sun shafts (like in Crysis).

assistance is pretty decent once you get used to it. some things can't be done in other camera modes from my experience at least :d

WTF. When I run the game I get the screen to create a profile. I enter my name then hit apply, and the game goes to desktop with another hawkx window (black nothing in the window) and that is it. Nothing loads just a small window open. I gave it access to inet but didn't solve anything.
Running 4.4 E8600, 4870x2, 4 gigs ram and vista 64bit.

If you are running Skype, that could be the cause. Go into settings, and choose to have the classic Windows visual style.

anyone tried to kill with guns?
not easy and makes the game very challenging..only thing i wanted to see is a tail of smoke when craft been hited by me..so i will be able to follow that craft easy when the sky is full of crafts and smoke from the ground.

People are working on a mod to be able to do that. The game uses LUA for almost everything, so it should be extremely moddable.  |

It's out? I thought the game doesn't hit the shelves till March 7th/8th?

Great game, really is, issue...when i launch the DX10.exe nothing but black screen, have to ctl-alt-dlt out, anyone got any idea's spec's in sig.

WTF!...I swear I thought I saw the PC version in that shelf. I did not look for more then 2 sec as I saw Empire Total War next to it. Or it was an empty case (they sometimes do that, you pay and get it later kind of thing). Normally the console games and PC games are separated at Media Markt (huge German tech shop, EU wide). But I guess it was an empty case then. Sorry to have blown the horn to early

Cheers!, like I said, it is probably a marketing thang then. I did not really look, I know I saw the jewel case (Pilot mask and helmet with HAWX written on it) and some sort a big poster above that shelf with HAWX written all over it etc, and then I spotted ETW  and went "NO WAY" (as i am in Geneva and will not be back home until Friday  .
