honestly it's quite a good breed of cat to get. She has such a distinctive personality, and you can tell she actually gives a shit when we are around (unlike some cats). Actually the wiki description is pretty spot on...

Quote:
Siamese are affectionate and intelligent cats, renowned for their social nature. They enjoy being with people and are sometimes described as "extroverts". They are extremely vocal, with a loud, low-pitched voice – known as "Meezer", from which they get one of their nicknames[5] – that has been compared to the cries of a human baby, and persistent in demanding attention. They also have a great need for human companionship. Often they bond strongly to a single person. These cats are typically active and playful, even as adults.[11][12]

The minute I come in the door after work she's rolling around on the ground, meowing and demanding attention Razz Another pretty big plus imo is that this breed has a long lifespan (15-20 years) in comparison to domestic cats ... although I guess that means in the end you might be more upset losing them.

I'm sure I've posted this before a while ago ... but another pic from when she was still a kitten (excuse my ugly mug in the photo Wink)...

had a couple drinks tonight so I'm being a bit of a pain in her ass ... Razz ... but still, some good tongue action on these ones and some good shots of her mutant feet Surprised

and yeah I know, her nails need a bit of a trimming Razz

yeah, she was a bit of a terror when she was a kitten, always climbing the patio screen door and the curtains. Really the most annoying thing she did was was keep opening the kitchen cupboards and chewing open stuff. She's actually much more athletic than our other two cats ... she effortlessly jumps up 3 ft to the countertops ... so I'm not sure how much to attribute to her massive kitty mitts Razz

...but in the weekend she steals diamonds for him. Those claws can cut through glass like a hot knife through butter!
