If you have played the demo you would know, just shoot him in the head and walk up to him and punch him, do this till he die's. you can use some exploding barrels and the electric thing on the left of the stairs like the other guy mentions.
As chris i used my rifle to shoot him in the head, he isnt that hard. |
have not played the demo.. so i shall basicly stun him with a few rounds and walk up to him? i got to close to times and it got kinda messy haha.. |
Shoot him in the head (i prefer the rifle) and when he kneels walk up to him and press X or whatever button it is so you can punch him, than walk back and repeat this untill he die's, try to kill the other enemy's along the way so they wont disturb you. (Thats what coop is good for, the other can hold off the enemy's as you kill the chainsaw guy)

damn the ricochet!! I hated the demo but just cause this game doesnt have the third wave video partition, I am gonna play it...

I haven't tried it, but I assumed that's what it was. I definitely don't recommend that if you're playing with the AI, she always runs and stands right in front of you, all the fucking time. At least she did in the demo. |

Yeah, me and the GF was about to start playing a split-screen campaign, then i saw the fucking stupid way they decided to split the screen.. i mean, what the fuck? talk about alot of wasted screen space? Sure, i got 106" to play on, but i just hated it.. and you can't change it either it seems.. So now im burning a second copy, we'll do System Link instead.

This game is cool but i dont like playing solo, its meant to be played in coop, its hard to do but perhaps i'll wait with playing untill i can go online, anyone else already got online?

So from what i read... Your forced to play with some stupid bot? if that really is the case then im gonna be fucking furious, i mean what the hell first they remove all the puzzles which made RE different from other crappy shooters and now they are gona force some nigra chick on you?
So now its just a shoot em all blow shit up dont think just shoot type of game with a good coop mode(which sounds awesome btw)

It's like Left 4 Dead.
It's meant to be played coop with a friend, but the bot is good enough to make it possible to play and enjoy the game on your own as well.

First of all, the bot you play with, is actually good. She's not as good as you are yourself and she can be annoying sometimes, but she acts much like a normal player does.
And about the puzzle and gameplay elements, that ain't new. Resident Evil 4 had bad and easy puzzles too (though I haven't encountered any in RE5 yet, so I don't know how it is now), and the run-and-shoot gameplay is the same in RE4 as it is in RE5 with the exception that you can now strafe.
What made RE different from other crappy shooters in my opinion, would be how well they made the environments and the ride, I didn't like RE4 so much, I loved the beginning, but then it all went bad in my opinion. But RE5 is great, and only gets better in my book.
And your partner isn't black, nor is she white, she's middle. Not that it matters in the slightest what color your "bot" is... o.O
The Co-Op is fabulous, it makes the game an easy 9/10 which is as high as I would ever rate a game. Without a friend playing with you, it's more like 8.5/10. Still an awesome game.
In short, if you hated RE4, then you're probably not going to like this one either. |
The bot can go to hell, all sidekicks just end up getting on your nerves, and im fairly certain everyone agrees with me on that aspect
also RE4 had lots of cool puzzles in my opinion, infact they had the perfect amount of puzzles and some of them were fairly hard, dont care what people say but puzzles are a part of RE.
About the running and gunning im actually surprised they didnt fuck that up as well, since kids are crying about not being able to run and shoot well buhu go play Halo
Capcom is just trying to reach a less mature audience or something i have no idea but from what i read and you guys told me just now, this game = fail
FYI i loved RE4 i thought it was the best one in the series
