Unlocks in less than 6 hours on Steam, not gonna bother. If it wasn't totally fucked though, would really of been a nice early treat.

Someone should try using the steam loader with this rls.. and then the Razor crack with the retail rls, if thats possible (not sure if u have to activate before install?)
Has anyone got fully working sound?

New nvidia drivers are out today guys. Support people on Total War Forums are telling customers to upgrade.
People are having a hell of a lot of issues with steam it seems. The post near the bottom of this thread with a picture is hilarious.

It's starting to look like they shouldn't have used steam for this game.
Causing more problems then it should.
New nvidia drivers aren't going to fix this POS.
Seems to me the problem may not have been Razors fault.

There doesn't seem to be an original exe with the release, just the cracked one. So can't really check
Still no release?

I have no idea what's on the discs as I haven't downloaded this title but if it's the SIM/SID files again but with a custom installer and crack can't you unpack those files manually to get the original content that way?
EDIT: Another possibility is that Razor just included a custom installer with the files pre-unpacked, there's a few different archives though so perhaps some files went missing if there's problems with their release.

i bought it via steam.
but i think i have to buy a new pc :/
even on low details with trilliniar filtering and aa2 on 1680x1050 it runs very bad on my pc...
asus a8n32 socket 939; 4gig ddr400; athlon x2 3800 (2ghz); evga 8800 gtx 768mb; vista 64 (all effects disabled.)
is someone here who has a similar machine and can run the game fine?

Well that makes it rather easy then doesn't it, at least that's how I see it, could be wrong though?
Someone with the full game would just needs to upload the EXE and the files will work with a manual unpack, might help if something is bad with the custom installer and how it works albeit future updates would be a problem unless someone who owns the game decides to upload the modified files. (Easily findable by sorting them by date unless there's a day-0 patch pre-applied to the Steam version at which point the files would need to be compared to Razors release which would take a bit of time.)

haha best quote on the etw forums
"My first turn as Great Britain was scary, and overwhelming. There's so much to do on the Campaign map that it's hard to know where to start, so I built farms..."
