I'm waiting for my retail copy but from what I've heard it takes about 5-6 minutes each turn and about half (2-3 min.) on fast forward.
Is it normal ? If you ask me it's enormous.

My loadtimes are about 30 seconds and in my grand campain at turn 12 has a turntime less than a minute. I never had those long loadtimes in the demo either.

On fast foward( meaning no 'show enemy movement' I think? ) the first few turns has only taken 10-15 seconds or so here. It's longer than the previous games though. Hopefully they can do something about this and the relatively long load times with a patch.

Well, I'm around turn 75, and when it's Spain's turn it takes a minute to load. Used to be the same with Russia and Maratha Confederacy.

Same as Razors, roughly 14.7 GB
(Razors crack attempt only missed a few files from the first update that Steam does when the game is installed while somehow got ahold of others such as the boot and patch pak files and the updates to the sound_fx.pack file are also missing for some reason but that wouldn't have affected size all that much in the end as the cracked files would have overwritten the retail files.)

JB, let me ask you, because I'm not sure. I have only played 20 mins in the game, in RTI. Is it normal that the woman that speaks during the campaign has her voice cut off? I mean, she says one or two words and she stop talking. Other than that, don't know much about other bugs.

:\ Same happened with me but not sure if it's me clicking or game bug.
This is what I did:
DL Razor
Simpack to extract (will edit post for precise size after extract)
Copy sounds_sfx.pack from tpb to \data\
Extract your Test.rar
Copy Razor EXE

Hi guys,
We will be rolling out the first of a series of updates later today with a variety of fixes for Empire: Total War, including:
* Fixed Alt-Tab issue which prevents players from switching away from a full screen window
* Fixed text rendering for certain resolutions
* Fixed localized font overrun issues.
* Fixed a variety of crash and memory leak issues
* Fixed a variety of multiplayer client lock
* Fixed trade nodes for those nations with resource in home region which caused unprofitable trade theatre routes eg: Sweden and Marathas.
There is a constant support program in process which is using your feedback as well as our own testing. We are currently working on the next update which will be available early next week.

FYI. If you have legit version the patch will download automatically through Steam once you log-in.
Judging from what people are saying on the Total War forums the AI will not be fixed by the developer, but the mod community will step in for balance and AI issues (at least this has been the way it worked for last few TW games).

Do you have an occasional cut on the narrator's voice over? This is the only problem I experience, and I'm not sure if it's the game or the warez.

BTW I just wanted to thank JBeckman for the updated steam files and I'll be looking forward to the patch that you're gonna be packing.
Game is great, once it becomes available in my country, I'll buy a copy.

Yup, it happens here both on Razor's and legit release. It's a game thing, what JB said in post above.

I installed the razor release but followed the sequence in one of the earlier posts for DVD2, 0,1,2,2 instead of 0,1,1,1 that the installer prompted for. Then I got the retail sound pack from TPB and overwrote the file. Do I need anything else?
C2D E8400 @ 3.8. GA-P35 D3SL Rev 2.0. 4GB 800Mhz OCZ Reaper HPC Edition. EVGA GTX 285 720/1620/2722. 700 Watt OCZ Gamextream PSU. Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro. 2x 250GB HDD. Antec P180B.
