i dislike gfwl, its so invasive, asking for a login each time... its just another silly requirement that gets forced onto people, just so that microsoft can push its on crap. (granted i know its like steam, but you arent forced to log into steam on games you havent bought over steam...)

this isnt hatred AGAINST gfwl as a concept, but rather, i dislike how its integrated into games.

that aside, cant wait for the game. read the graphic novel (so short its more like a comic book i guess) and quite enjoyed the design and the grim surreal nature of it... should make for a fun game - just hope its really twisted and dark and not just some cheapo light action beat-em-up Sad

re: stealth/action balance - only agree if its NOT sneaking type gameplay... id hope for something a bit more interesting, like doing 'bat-maneuvers'™ (Very Happy), involving lots of grapple swinging and gliding and utility belt stuff, thatd be cool... maybe even some POP styled freerunning stuff could be great fun... if its within reason of course.

Which most of the time means plenty of blood and violence but no sexual content.
(Unsure about heavy fatalities and mature language like in for example the remake of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay or the recently released Watchmen)

You were actually expecting an M-rated Batman game?

The "T" rating should be fine for this game. Batman doesn't need M-type content, really.

Language aside, fatalities wouldn't really make sense in a Batman game, seeing as how he doesn't usually kill anyone.

Well you're right, breaking someones neck doesn't count as killing them though.
(You don't need legs and arms either to be alive and those ribs can go as well, haha)

Haha, DC didn't put out for Mortal Kombat to be M, and you want brutal violence in a game with "Batman" on the title? Razz

"DLC" could mean two extra costumes or some shit like that. It's probably some special edition thing.

IN GAME Shocked

I think I am going to really like the "look" of this game. I am one of a very few of you who like the rubber look to games like Far Cry and Riddick:AoBB. I think you all will admit (wait... did I actually say that?! Rolling Eyes )that this has a nice mixture of shaders. Looking forward to it. Afraid that it will be portastic though I must admit. /Crosses fingers

So true. Reminds a whole lot of the Splinter Cell gameplay but at a faster pace. And you're flipping batman.
