Of course. I read that WWE v RAW is better. Still, when I watched wrestling years ago, there was Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior etc. I would like to play a game with them, because I can at least recognize some of it. My contact with wrestling ended in late 1980'

I have to admit i like it Surprised
I didnt like the wwf(e whatever) vs raw games (i loved the old royal rumble game on the snes ! and the first smackdown on ps1 wasnt that shabby too), since i dont watch wrestling for a long time (my son likes those games since he knows all the wrestlers).

Well but in this game there are those fights from the 80´s to the late 90´s which i know Very Happy
When u play the kinda "story" mode chalenge matches u get a vid with some pre fights of those 2 wrestlers why they wanna fight against each other and the biggest moments + finish of the fight.

Nostalgic feelings all over Very Happy
Only tried one mode where u have to fight a match with objectives and replay the original fight.
So if u watched wrestling in this era it could be fun.

Wrestling games are fun if you play with other people. But don't ever expect much from the AI. I recall a great time with a friend and I were playing one of the older PS2 games he had Hulk Hogan and I was Kane I beat the living piss out of him and then proceeded to do 3 finishers that I saved up in a row one after another. I pinned him and he kicked out in the count of 1 "Hulked up" and pinned me for the win. Was the most bullshit thing I have ever happened to me in a video game and we just couldn't help but laugh at what just happened. Hogan was just insane in that game though he was the only AI I ever lost to as well.

Imo, they should have taken this a stage further and allow you to export the data back into smackdown vs raw.

This would mean you could improve the wrestler in WWE:legends and still have a benefit in Smackdown.

However, other than the nostalgic feeling of old school wrestling, I'm distinctly unimpressed with this game. Control system feels old and unresponsive. Graphics are meh (everyone looks like they're covered in plastic wrap).

Its saving grace is that Legion of Doom are in it (Road Warriors) and thats good enough for me Very Happy

No, well, not exactly.

There are two main modes to the game. First one requires a created wrestler (or imported from smackdown) and you basically go through xx number of fights with them til you beat that section. Almost like a survival mode. There's a few tiers to beat but its nothing special.

Secondly, there is a section where you can relive or rewrite history. These are specified fights from wrestlemania's of past. Includes some nice footage though.
