I think the topic speaks for itself, what do you guys consider the best DVD9 to DVD5 app? it does not have to be the fastest but I must be able to configure it (get rid of those annoying trailers and FBI crap) and of course the output must be as good as possible.

Thanks for any help

dvdshrink Smile custom compression, delete what you want from the dvd's etc. if you want you can make it a straight movie no menu's nothing. So when you pop the movie in it starts playing right away

this combo gives me the best results:

dvdremake pro (allows you to edit menus, rip extra's, audio, subs, everything)
dvdrebuilder pro + cce sp (frontend for cce and other various mpeg2 encoders, nice menus, customizable etc..)

load your movie into dvdremake, do your editing, export the files, load them in dvdrebuilder, check your options/pass's etc, set your destination and backup.. quallity is superior to all "one-click" apps

The best is DVDRebuilder Pro, especially if you use Cinema Craft Encoder as encoder, and throw in like 5 passes or more re-encoding...almost like the scene groups does I guess, just that it is easy to use Smile

I rip everything to XVID/DIVX. No movie is worth a whole DVD. I use this old app back in 2006, but works great!

lolz ... stuck in 5 years ago for liking quality eh? DVDR > xvid and BluRay >>>>>>>>>>>> DVD Smile must be like still owning a black and white TV Razz

and btw, there is almost NO price difference here between decent quality CD-R, DVD-R, DVD-R DL blanks... all about $1 a pop Wink
