Go back to page 20,you will see that all I did originally was make a quick post about how much I liked this game,and how surprised I was about how well it ran,I still have bad memories about that latest need for speed game running like crap,and half expected burnout to run like that did,and then left it at that.
From then on I get some people,not all,throwing out smart comments and questioning my sincerity.
Anyway fella I am done with this childish conversation,no need for me to keep the flamers happy any longer

The latest NFS had problems with all hardware, regardless of how good the PC was (awful optimization). This is developed by another developer, and is coded very well.

Look more carefully, you must have missed something.
When you complete all the Marked man races, it tells you that via a message splattered on the screen and so do stunt, race and takedowns.
If you got all 4 messages, and you can't see any races on the map. Then must be a bug or something.

If you've failed any races (X instead of V on the various map symbols.) then it should be possible to replay them until you succeed, might be that's the problem here?

Break all the yellow barriers, beat all the Road rules and shit like that and you get 5 more cars.
Nothing special about them.

I've only ever played the psp version of burnout, but I i've noticed some annoying things it I hope they fix:
Burning lap inconsistencies - some burning laps require 100% boost with no crashing and near perfect driving to just narrowly squeak into a gold medal, while others have so much wiggle room you can crash 3 times and still finish 4 or 5 seconds under.
catch up mechanics - I hate these so much, but even if they implement them they need to fix the whole "You are leading by 5 seconds! He's right on your tail!" *slam*
the last dozen or so times I've played I've noticed the catch up always kicking in right as it announces I've got a big lead.
Impossible victories - 2 or 3 times when I've been racing I've noticed that if the AI gets far enough ahead of you, just far enough that his triangle will disappear, he becomes impossible to catch. I had a race where for 2 laps, I was full on burning, perfect laps no crashing, and every time it announced how far back I was it was increasing by ridiculous amounts. They disappear from visual range around 4-5 seconds ahead on the PSP version yet with perfect racing, I finished the race like 19 seconds back.
crash-proof wall transitions- On a few maps on the psp version where the crash proof wall ends (which you sometimes have to hug to get around a corner) instead of it smoothly going on to a wall there is a tiny piece jutting out which means that corner is almost always a crash if its a tough corner.

Quote: | well psp version sucks ass, it's very easy to finish most of the races from first try |
Do the other versions also feature that shitty takedown cam? I can't count the amount of times I've crashed because the cam goes off me yet everything keeps moving. When the slow mo cam finally comes back down on me I'm running head on into a transport, column or something else.
And could the aftertouch takedowns be anymore inconsistent?
so many times I've taken out other people with my trashed corpse, yet probably only 5% of the time do I get an aftertouch takedown.

Well from the changelog it adds DLC support so P2P (Pay2Play that means in this instance.)
///
All 3 downloadable car packs are now available for the PC version of Burnout Paradise The Ultimate Box. Just download the latest update, and you'll be able to purchase these from your in-game store.
That means PC players will finally be able to purchase the incredible Legendary Cars Pack, featuring the Jansen 88 Special, the Hunter Manhattan Spirit, the Hunter Cavalry Bootlegger and, of course, the Carson GT Nighthawk.
The Toys Collection brings you 9 of your favourite Burnout Paradise vehicles - rebuilt as toys.
And finally, check out the Boost Specials Pack. With this pack the awesome Montgomery Hawker Mech and Carson Extreme Hotrod redefine what it means to Boost in Paradise City with "switchable" and "lock-on" Boost.
The great cars will be available to buy as collections only. Download the update today and all these cars will be available to view and purchase from a Junkyard near you.
///
EDIT: New content is nice, not that expensive either (Just looked though, not bought anything yet.) and you can preview the stuff before deciding.

So eh what would the point be of using this patch with a non-legal copy (Or rather serial) as the DLC content is bound via your account (It's there but needs to be unlocked/bought) and can't be used until that's been done.
Might be possible to crack that system as well though I guess it depends on how it's implemented.

Sorry if I misunderstand you or perhaps I didn't explain properly.
The patch installs all content to the game directory but to unlock the new cars and what not you need to be signed in to your account which I assume requires a valid serial number and then by purchasing new content you bind this to your "profile" which'll mark it as unlocked and the game then allows you to use the content. (Bought the cheapest one to test, kinda like a cheat as it'll give access to all vehicles - aside from the new DLC content - directly without needing any other licenses or requirements.)
It might be possible to hack a profile file if one is saved on the computer to fool the game into thinking everything is unlocked but I don't think it'll be that easy. (Like a 100% completion save or such basically.)
Other than that the patch doesn't change or alter anything with the game, just adds these new DLC for purchase.
