Did anyone work a mod to make the blur shader be gradual toward distant objects (near objects less blurry, very distant objects more blurry)?

It may be playable now on weaker systems. We just need the crack and we are good to go.

Game works fine with the mini-image (Daemon Tools Extensions instead of YASU as it hasn't been updated in a while.)
Still it needs updated verisons of a few utilities (XLiveLess for example.) before I'll resume playing.
(On the last mission and it's pretty annoying but I'll finish it soon.)

It is awesome. I had so much fun with it. Great story, great and hilarious characters, great action. Awesome all the way.

Game works fine, even multiplayer, with the "official" no-cd from securom team that was once posted on gta forums ^_^

My buddy gave me his one, 'cause he's not playing anyway...
My post was about the 3rd patch working with no-cd in multiplayer, idk about razor and fedor cracks...Well, i mean if they do or not.

Wait, so that SecuROM crack works for ALL the patches? It was just the LaunchGTAIV.exe that was needed, wasn't it?

Yes.
And a key to activate the game. Or some file, that makes the game activated.

The link was posted in this topic a long time ago, and the link for the file directed to securomsupport ftp, so it was official after all...Though they've taken it down later that day.
Check your pm, check with antivirus to be sure, use it.

anybody wanna give a guide on how to get gtaiv running now with latest patch. i have free key from "the club" and "dawn of war 2 beta" and a copy of the no-dvd file from securom. i thought i remove and install fresh but need a guide on what to install and what to update. i got razor rls

You shouldn't need to reinstall. Just install the official patch, copy the SecuROM no-cd back and play! If Live asks for the key, use your Club or DoW2-Beta one.

Say... will a Fallout 3 Live key work too? I still have mine here unused and I also grabbed that SecuROM free exe.
Is this all I need to run the game without using any loader?

Yep!
Any and all (except Halo 2, apparently. A friend of mine tried his official Halo 2 key and it doesn't work for any other game) G4WL titles work on any and all G4WL titles, even Dawn of War 2 - by all indications.

Don't you still need to activate the game with a key when using the SecuROM no-cd? A GFWL key wont work..
