Great job, hope it plays well with the fake patch.

If you are having problems unpack the bsa's to data map. Ancorage runs fine that way on 1.0

Sorry Epsilon I kinda saw this as the same thing as those Steam patches I've been uploading as it's very similar though I guess there's still a few differences as this is a actual DLC and not a "public" patch.

Anyway it seems LIVE will be strenghtened a bit.

Exactly, patches are alright as they aren't sold by the companies, DLC's however are.

All 4 at once ?! Shocked

Had my bottom 2 removed and that was already painful.

Your painkillers HAVE to be groovy or you wouldn't survive Smile

Anyway, I read that this DLC release is plagued with bugs ?

Seems like it, at least for the 360 version:
http://bethblog.com/index.php/2009/03/24/issues-with-the-pitt/

While I really loved Fallout 3 I have to admit that sometimes I wonder if their Q&A staff is retarded or simply non-existent. It's fuck up after fuck up; OA had it's problems, now the Pitt.

Hell, even with Oblivion with the Shivering Isles expansion it was the same shit. And I'm not even going to bother with the things that the 1.2 patch broke in Oblivion, left to fix for the mod community.

It's like they never learn from their mistakes. Sad

Did the oblivion patches break stuff too? I played it a while ago with the latest patch and did not really have any problems. Can you tell me what was broken? (other then the leveling system but that is broken by design Very Happy )

Here's a list of both fixed and pendent bugs in Oblivion:
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Bugs

There's quite a few of them that are still not solved(unless you use the unofficial patch, that is). I remember the first time I found the broken candle bugs when I thought that it was caused by OOO.

Here's a list from what the unofficial patch fixes:
http://baldurdash.org/TESOblivion/UOPFixList.html
Most are small graphical glitches by now.

I would recommend grabbing the mods "FOOK,xfo, Martigens Mutant Mod and Enclave Commander" to start with, then customize from there with whatever you want as that is a healthy base - and a vast improvement on the vanilla experience.
If you possibly can, wait with the pitt until the most severe bugs and oversights gets fixed. Anchorage is just now coming into it's own, due to the efforts of the modding community.

Has anyone managed to play the Pitt without the newest patch? I've got the fake patch installed and FOMM. I've added the Pitt with FOMM but I never get the radio signal .When I went to the radio tower I found the Pitt Raiders and Werhner but Werhner won't move and will only say something like "We've got to go".

Yeah they do expect you to wear that slave outfit and not be that high level with the best equipment in the game ready.

I didn't hand over my stuff either but I hid it in a postbox just outside the compound near a army truck just in case something goes missing or happens to it when I'm supposed to get it back after the quest.

Have a auto-axe now though so not much survives a few hits from that, bit glitchy though as the blade part can disappear if you switch from third to first person or such, albeit you can just re-equip it to make it visible again.

Other than that it's been pretty good, certainly better than Anchorage but it was meant to be a bit different.

Looking forward to "Broken Steel" hopefully Bethesda can deliver something interesting since it's going to abandon the current ending and even increase the level cap.
(Hopefully without the existing bugs in other mods that alter leveling, though most of it is fixed easily with various workarounds.)

Enclave Commander is well done, no doubt about that, but I never felt it fit in properly with the game (plus it makes things too easy, as if FO3 wasn't easy enough as is).

Works fine (Unless mods and badly tweaked INI files interfere.) those bugs (Damaged .BSA files containing all "resources" for the game.) only affects the English X360 edition.

Yeah it's short. Like Amer said, you can just hand in the equipment, you'll get it back when
 Spoiler:

After that they don't seem to care if you wear power armor or not. The autoaxe is not that great imo and the last reward is kinda meh , I sided with the slaves. I'm wondering if there's a different reward when you join the slavers?

Crash fix for the Pitt, read the comments to find out why it crashes and determine if you require this modification.
(By the team that did the unofficial patches for F3 and Oblivion, plus some other tools and utilities.)

Also someone ported over the "Wannamingo"/"Alien" from Fallout 2.
(Ported might not be the correct term though.)

http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5131
(Author also made the crashed Alien usable, altered the Deathclaw and made a Gecko creature, there's also a creature based on the Mammoth in that museum with the ghouls in it made by another modder.)

More DLC on the way, doesn't mean all of them will be released though (Holiday DLC for Oblivion was scrapped.) just that "Broken Steel" isn't the end, probably kills any hope for a proper expansion though as work gradually shifts to other bigger titles like TES V.
