Supernatural - despite it's genre and format it is still one of the best TV productions I've seen. It got everything - superb gritty athmosphere, great humor, epic story and lots of action with good effects and style. So, check it out.

And +10 to Entourage.

Just watched all episodes of Life. The premise I really like and there is just some epic hotness in that show. Female lead is very hot and allmost every episode there is some chicks worth looking at. Adam Arkin is good in his typecasted role and the male lead(also from Band of Brothers) manages in most episodes to handle the very deep emotional complications his character must feel. The murder-plods vary in execution sadly.

Watched all episodes of Entourage allmost in a row. Awesome show. Kevin Dillon and Jeremy Piven is epic Very Happy

Most other shows I watch are mentioned here Smile

Supernatural +1. Just skip S1 entirely and enjoy every season.
The Shield I couldn't get into, though I must admit I only watched three or four eps. I just didn't like the lead guy. Should I give it another chance? Is it really that good?

We should make this thread into an 'almost sticky' much like the "last watched movie' thread. A place to recommend new series etc. Im gonna edit the topic.

The Unit:
David Mamet (think Shawn Ryan had a small role in whatever, but it was created by David Mamet)

The Shield:
Shawn Ryan

Sons of Anarchy:
Kurt Sutter (former writer and producer on The Shield)

Stargate SG-1

10 seasons of pure sci-fi which is very enjoyable, you also have the spinoff series of Stargate SG-1 which is Stargate Atlantis and that tv series is also really good.

You don't have to be a science geek to watch this, it's actually really good tv on a whole nother' level.

Two and a half men is one of the funniest show there is right now, I pass through the 6 seasons in no time.

the It crowd is also funny as hell, you just want more of it.
( their take on the popular anti piracy ad )

Californication +1111 - best written drama with vulgar humor and topics and lots of sex. Easily my favorite serie in the past 2 years.

Forget about scrubs, it has shallow humor and his probably made to please most people which my anti conformism hates badly. It has good elements but after watching 13 episodes i found myself thinking that it wasnt worth it, the humor is taken away by love stories and character development that you really dont care about.

Probably a good serie to watch with your girlfriend like "How i met your mother"

Good, but just too soft it makes you feel kinda sentimental. I prefer raw and hardcore humor that makes me feel like a man lol.

i second that, excellent show to watch if you have girls over.

another one along these lines i'd recommend is rules of engagement, it reminds me a bit of how i met your mother, but with david spade instead of neil patrick harris Very Happy

If you like a great intelligent sci-fi show, also try Odyssey 5. Unfortunately it was canned at the end of the first season and leaves at a cliffhanger, but it is absolutely worth watching!
