it is a pile of shit, finished 17 missions that are "collect shit" "drive shit with time" "drive walk drive walk drive walk drive and collect shit in a time limit" "jump and shit" "push b1 b3 b5 b6 b3 b2 to snap lesbians" "direct a shit movie with b1 b3 b2 b1 b3 b2 b1"
this game is a pile of shit Larry 4 was passable and the humor was good but this one.... brrrr

i own all Larry "proper" adventure games (larry 1 - 7) and they're excellent, Magna Cum was shite, Box Office is a fecking joke, this would've been game of the year if it was an adventure game (point n click) where you talk to people, pick up objects, etc especially considering the good use of U3 engine.....
instead you get a platform game with some obscene language which doesn't work.
utter disappointment.
i'm still waiting for Larry 8 which probably will never be done, but i hope for a new Larry adventure game.
one funny thing is that Larry's uncle looks like the real Larry lol the boy doesn't.

This game isn't as bad as ppl are making out imo. You guys know that you fall asleep and you play the game in Larry's dreams? Its not just running around a movie studio. the western part of the game is pretty long and have just got to the horror dream.
I do admit though that the controls, camera, tasks and checkpoints (or rather the lack of checkpoints) can get annoying at times.

lol.. story, jokes/humor.. some of the mini games are ok, like the shooting parts.

Does anyone know how I go about changing the resolution of this game,when I go into the game,there isn't any graphics options at all,is there some sought of ini file where I can set it to 1920x1080.
Actually I just figured it out,I right clicked on the LSL - Box Office Bust shortcut and there is a graphics options in the menu,I could select 1920x1080 in there as well as a few other graphics settings.
There is one option I am not sure about,it's called initialize shaders on demand,it's off by default,does anyone know if the graphicss will be better with or without this option.

Gamespot review, pretty funny actually and I guess most people will agree with the score though I find the game itself OK and definitively nowhere near as offensive as the reviewer says it is, still it's a fun read.
(Yahtzee or how you spell it could probably make a good video review with this title.)
Game is a bit buggy though so you'll often get stuck forcing you to reload a save or even restart the game as scripts hang and things go wonky.
(Crashing a car into a tree and landing with the "car" or what to actually call those things standing up will make Larry just say that the exit is blocked forcing you to load a earlier save, also making a script hang will block story progress if another script is triggered until you exit the game and start it again, had to replay quite a bit of the game due to that first time it happened as you can't even save as that'll just trigger and block another script.)
Ah well worth the download at least but I probably wouldn't pay for it, hehe.
