This is probably the same vsync issue as Dead Space (limiting framarate to 30). Disable it from withing the game, and use D3DOverwriter to force proper vsync.  |

the game main theme is the manage of the mafia, build your empire etc, if you are expecting a gta4, a big nice open world, with great gfx,where you can kill the pedestrians, forget this game.

Wasn't this game delayed for extra polishing and tweaking? One word: FAIL!
This game doesn't even deserve a download, take my word for it.

It was. Initial rls date was the end of Feb.
I also think the game sucks a little. Will keep playing it till something else comes out like riddick then it'll go straight to recycle bin.

It's ridiculous how much unreliable are all these persons that every now and then they come with huge statements like:"Crap game!Shit game!Fucking terrible!thank god i did not download it!" etc. without even give the minor explanation why they think it is crap.Yes maybe it's crap but say why.The same people when someone gives a link to a review by gamespot,ign etc. come with huge statements again:"Crap reviewer!fucking ign!did he even play the game?gamespot sucks!"

I absolutely hated the first one and ppl say this isn't anything better. So "thank god I didn't download this shit"
Also screenshots look bland and I watched some videos and it's the same shit as the first. Absolutely boring and underwhelming.

Problem is GTA4 set such a high standard now when I even attempt playing any open world city game (Saints Row 2) I'm severely disappointed. This game is rather bland honestly. Not that it lacks polish just isn't very entertaining to me.
It's really the technology in GTA4 that created immersion. When I run into pedestrians/drive or fall down/shoot people in this game it doesn't feel convincing and that kills it for me.

I never understood why Mafia gets such a fanboy cum-shower, to be bluntly honest. The game was shite, really shite. Hideous graphics, absolutely appalling driving mechanics and ridiculous plotlines -- not to mention the insane amount of bugs in the PC version.

To each his own, I guess.

Just played this game for one hour, its everything i expected for, even more.
i agree that the city could be more well made outside, but the insides are well made, shops,etc... and this game is unique in some ways, gameplay is great, combat system aswell, and the main theme is well done, control the city your way... you can hire guards, get upgrades...
the sound on this game is great, and the music !
overall i give this game until now - 7,9/10
