it's average to bad, it all depends on what you like and what you can tolerate or not
I like throwing people and punching them in the nuts and knee and killing few innocents while entering to scare the owner off ( or the cheer pleasure of it )
it's fun but can get clunky at times only one hour into the game so far

its a game about a Don that needs money to kill others ... really thats the whole story
its not a bad game but i didn't like it,why
1.didn't liked the music...songs or the lack of it or the theme how many times can i hear the Godfather theme remixed and played over and over and over but with different instruments
... so yeah said "fuck this shit" put on my Scarface Audio CD and played on
2.it plays like Mass Effect (control scheme and talking with characters) mixed with Scarface(other gameplay mechanics)... not kidding, but well it fails on the Scarface part, won't call it GTA clone because it had a different game style... fails at what you ask, building the climate... and the story its crappy, don't know whats wrong with it but this game has no mojo, it lacks the back story of your character... thats why its so hard to play this game and have fun...
GTA4 a crazy immigrant with revenge,
Scarface a crazy immigrant with revenge and god complex,
SaintRow a crazy dude from the street,
Mafia a Taxi driver with issues that would become a capo soldier ,
This Game Godfather 2 your name is Dominic ....and thats it, nice 
3.Graphics are nice but... well its a port and the only thing working is the resolution slider, AA is not there its only a Fake AA also known as Blur all your screen shit, V-sync is also a gimmick it turns off when you need it... marks of a fast port, oh and the LOD or your view sight is so small sometimes people pop in front of you

Its not that bad as some people here make it look, but i didnt find it to be fun enough to play and already uninstalled it, but i can see some people enjoying it, anyways its not a great game, its average and not for everyone.

The game is definatly fun to play, but it's hard getting over the fact how bad the graphics are when maxed out and how bad the driving is compared to GTAIV. That said, it's still fun to play.

Ok, so far so... well... good. I'm not far enough into the game to make any kind of informed appraisal, but I can make a snap judgement; and it's pretty interesting so far.
Graphics aren't the worst I've ever seen, but for a 2009 game they're definitely uninspiring. Functional and they do the job, but in this day and age where we've all been spoiled on games like Crysis and GTAIV? A tad lacking.
Audio is nice, again so far, with some excellent voice acting. Shame the animations on the faces are bit too wooden. The conversations dialogues play out a lot like Mass Effect, as previously noted, but without any of the gorgeous facial expressions from said game.
This is just first impressions from what? 25-30mins of gameplay? I'll come back and write up a concise review shortly.

- Has this game problems with graphics optimization?
Not even started to download it yet, BTW.

yes it has RPG but it mostly Upgrade your family or yourself with money ... want a larger health bar + carry more ammo pay 3000$ and you have it, new moves are also learned the same way with MONEY
graphical problems hmm yeah they are 2, flickering textures on sunglasses and problems with clipping (you can GO THOUGH A BUILDING when you speed enough)... and very low LOD but damn when you play on 1900x1200 resolution those subtitles are SO SMALL

If you wanna cheat for money with CE, search for float values instead of 4 byte (it'll come up with 3) - just change them all and you'll have the money you want.

Mafia was a great great game. Real classic
GTA 4 is a damn good game, really fun to play.
Godfather i found ammusing and fun to play for a couple of hours a day.
Ganna give this second one a try

Good game indeed!
What do i need to do after i took over 1 crime spot (or whatever its called) from each family at the beginning of florida?
The current objective still says take over atleast 1 spot of each family.

Game's ugly. Esp. for a game comming out in 09.
I like it besides tho and played it for a good few hours.
It's nothing deep and complex but it's mindless and violent fun.

very simple and pretty much tells you what to do exactly everytime so there's not really any depth or brain use needed.

This game is horrible, bad car handling, bad graphics although it does have some neat features, it's not enough to overlook everything else.
I'll stick to Wheelman for now.

Don't get me wrong, and I'm gonna post a proper review in the morning when I wake up, the game IS bad. Very, very bad .... but it's bad in a way that Saints Row 2 is. It's FUN! The executions and the "pressuring" is hilariously brutal - and I love it!
