I only use RS when I don't want to fuck up my ratio and tbh it's quite nice if you get off the "omg RS is for noobs torrents usent ftw/elitism for the sake of elitism"
usually they remove the whole thing but these lately they remove 1 or 2 parts and leave the other parts, it's like they do it for the lulz or something

Just use a software like msd and it'll check if all parts are online BEFORE it starts downloading. Or check with rapidshares own linkchecker. Just paste all links into it and it'll show you which part is missing.
And it's mostly not rapidshare who delete the files...

I use Jdownloader and it checks the links. A couple of times the links were deleted as I was downloading them lol, I just bitchslapped myself and restarted my pirate attack.

Megaupload is much better. Use JDownloader + Megaupload. It will ask you for captcha shit verification and that's it. They have no daily limit, no IP limit, only one concurrent download at a lower speed.

Well I could choose between RS and MU, and I choose RS, because there's just more stuff there. And I haven't found any forum, other that one we don't mention, which has RS links (or MU for that matter), and for which you can be sure what you're downloading...

Everything that can be found on RS can be found on MU as well. Mirrors are not as frequent, true, but MU rarely deletes stuff, while RS is constantly on the lookout, and removes even passworded files a few complaints.
