Well, to that description you have Jade Empire and Fable, which offer quite a good action. Smile

JE isn't very item-centered game tho - there's only a few weapons and basically no armor.

RainyDay did you play Marvel: Ultimate Alliance? Looks like you played most of pc ARPGs, you should really play ARPGs that are available on PS2/XBOX1 because they are great.

Yep played the PC version.
It was quite awesome, tho not exactly rpg, but still quite similar. Too bad that the second part will not be out for PC. I also have played X-men legends 2 and the similar freedom force vs. third rеich.

I think i should check the old console games , but pretty much my hopes and dreams are that one day some developer will drop two or three of his WWII games in exchange for some arpgs on the PC that are so rare now Sad

I'm playing Diablo 2 (SP). Making a hammerdin this time to see what all the fuss is about this type of character.

D2MultiRes - hack adds all video resolutions that your card support to the game. Spotted a few days ago at Codex.

Playing with it ATM. Its so nice, that I think I will finish D2 this time. Although, if you play ranged char hack is not recommended, cause while increasing viewing distance it doesn't change the radius at which AI react to your char. So you can just shoot mobs and they wouldn't even move.

9 years my ass. Check how other 9 year old games look. And no I'm not a gfx ho, just pointing out that it already looked dated when it was released.

I read that Sacred 2 may be lacking, but the latest bout of patches have actually made it a pretty cool game. I'm trying to get into it. If not for its gameplay, shit I better enjoy it if it's wasting 40gb of installed + ISO files on my drive.

Thanks a lot for that. Will try it when I come home. For now I'm using GLIDE3-to-OpenGL-Wrapper (LINK) in widowed mode that I can stretch while keeping original aspect ratio.

Did the Glide renderer look/run better in D2 than OpenGL/D3D? I wasn't even aware D2 *had* Glide support.

I own Diablo 2 and have been playing with my friends for a bit now.

There's also the /v/ Diablo 2 Battle Net Closed Ladder server.

It's up on Steam Community, so I think it's fine. Search for DiaBRO on Steam Community.

I'm using Glide because I use that wrapper. So I can play D2 like this :

Stretched (notice that original aspect ratio is preserved)

Original resolution
