Online content for the new expansion is available to everyone who purchased previous games. Only thing you might not get are unique units, but I doubt that.

Patch with new content is out, but servers arent updated. So if you patch, you won't be able to play multi (only SP).

ToV will add 3 new campaigns and 3 new multiplayer modes that are only for ToV owners and ofcourse the "swapable" units

I've heard the "hero" units in the new assault mode are lame. Unlike dota, they don't really have unique upgradeable abilities. You just upgrade a few stats. There are less than 10 'swapable' units.

I saw a video from that Panzerkrieg mode, where you control a ''Hero' tank, and from the looks and comments about it all tanks have differents purposes and abilities and yes they can be upgraded.

Yep it's like DOTA, except made by just one dev in his spare time. A mod of the game basically.

Uses the same protection as OF, IIRC. To play online, you need to login with an account that you've tied your CD Key to. For offline, just having the disc in is enough.

) - but imo buy the game and support THQ as they seem to have quite a few economical problems atm (still, they've got quite a few projects on their way...like CoH online, W40k mmorpg etc etc)
and collect first impressions of the game
