You're welcome.

By the way, fuck cheaphappens. They have already accused several people of stealing their trainers. Not just Kelsat. Ha ha ha! Coming from somebody that releases trainers for games that haven't even been released yet and making a profit from it. Fucking hypocrites. I Am surprised that they haven't been shut down yet.

After playing this for a quite a few hours now, my final score for this game its 7/10

why :

- Outside graphics are from 2004.
- Small subtitles (wtf)
- Biggest damn crosshairs i ever seen on a game WTF
- the character cant jump
- i dont like the driving and the damage on the cars
- some guns arent well made
- sometimes it feels too much arcade, and repetitive

whats good:

- inside buildings, explosions, are decent
- nice animations, and executions
- the don´s view, and create your own family
- you can upgrade alots of things
- theres alot of shit to do
- the story is decent and the cut-scenes aswell
- sound its pretty good, specially the background music
- the voice of the characters are good

Overall its a fun game with unique feautures, if done on a better engine and more polished , and somethings implemented better, could be so much better....

I just finished the game, VERY GOOD, that's my opinion of course. Another opinion: DON'T play this game if you know nothing about the movie (AKA, you have not seen the movie yet)

One question, maybe stupid, maybe not: Can I play online without a legit serial? I ask because the game looks like is login normally with my EA account, and then stuck forever until I hit ESC, it doesn't show any error message, look like an offline server or no players online; I know some games can play online, even not being an legit copy.

I think I bugged the game as after a few story missions in Florida I met a character and got the objective "Expand and defend your territory" or some such, problem is that doing that is impossible since I already control every available location with all rival families long dead. (Was the first thing I did in the game, take over all busnisses and eliminate the rival families, took a while but wasn't that challenging.)

Heh, will be interesting to see if I can get anywhere from here, guess I should have left at least one enemy HQ "Compound" standing.

AFAIK this game is set in the 60's or 70's, however the miami as we know it today did not look anything like it does now back then. The big building boom came when the cocain started to flow through miami. Razz

Nah, it's not bugged, you've just gotta wait a little.
I was actually just gonna write that and while I had the game alt-tabbed and after a moment went I was told to answer a phonecall.

Ah I see, good to know, no need to restart with the game then.
(I should have tried waiting in the first place though, it's kinda like those mobile phone calls you're waiting for in GTA IV at certain times in the story though there you can speed things up a bit by calling first.)

It's a great port, IMO. Runs great and looks just as good as the console brethren. Keyboard controls are nice, I've had no issues driving cars or anything - and, naturally, combat is better suited to keyb/mouse.

Some of those characters are a bit difficult to find (Though you don't need to eliminate every member in a rival family aside from the Don.) but check the mini-map for the building layout and make sure to explore the roof and bottom levels (Cellar if there is one.) also at times they can be nearby or behind the building that's marked at the map.
(Don't forget the proper condition for actually killing the guy either and not just incapacitate him for a while.)

Does it still have that crappy lock on mechanic like in the console version? I wish it could be turned off like in GTA. Sad

You mean autolock on enemies ? It has an option in the game's settings. Default is off.

i finally finished the game early yesterday. the game feels rushed. many a time, i would get stuck inside a wooden crate and have to restart. there are some clipping/collision problems for sure. i don't like how you cannot advance your 'made man' from basic weaponry unless you play multiplayer.

the graphic is quite dated. it would look better if released 1 or 2 years ago. the driving isn't done very well. the various cities feel small and cramp. the citizens aren't very lively. sure they react to you but it seemed canned. why did they spend so much time on the 3d map when a plain 2d would suffice. they could have taken that time to flesh out the game world more (and fix the clipping/collision problems).

i like the 'mark for death' feature when you do favors to find out how to kill the rival family made men. i also like the whole recruiting, promoting, and building up of your own family. i wished they spent more time into that. it would be cool to take the family through several generations. you know, like getting the made men married and have kids.

anyway, i think this game could have been much better. as it stands however, it's just an ok game.
