Hmmm, well most of the games don't use extra protections, I didn't know about those 2.

Don't you love having sausages in each of your hands while you take a third one down your throat, enjoying the thick juicy texture?!

Looks like this is going to take a few days. Fortunately, I'm very patient and refuse to contribute a dime to Atari.

Unsure if this helps but the activation files are in the C:\ProgramData\Tages folder, "ProgramData" being a system folder and hidden by default.
Doubt it's usable on other computers (Using a activated license from that folder.) though, probably uses hardware identification and such.

+1, it will come out eventually. Not too much difference playing it a month sooner or later...

That is the reason these protections are still used. They alienate some people, but equally, the impetuous among us run out and buy the game because they "have" to play it.
If it really hurt sales that much, they wouldn't use it. It's just that simple.
It's going to get broken. Might be today, might be 2 months from today. Ultimately, the only way to stop Atari and others from using this shit is to abstain from buying the game no matter how badly you feel the need to.

Ya,probably pointless but let's try anyway just to make sure.

for anyone who wants to give it a try, extract it to where jBeckman said "C:\programData\Tages".

Don't work. Wouldn't there be a .reg change aswell though when the game is activated?
In XP the folder is here C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Tages\100663362
