Well the guy on that site is right, PG-13 does not always mean degraded violence. While it isn't a good sign, it could just mean "no nekkid".

... yeah, T4 is gonna be great honest. *sigh* I will, of course, watch the film first.. but I don't hold any hope for it. In fact, the only reason I want T4 to succeed is so that Fox can see it's worth keeping and hopefully will bring back TSCC for a Season 3.

So, anyone going to see this May 21st? I sure as hell am. I know its PG-13 (which means its PG in Canada) but Ive been waiting for the war against the machines movies since I saw T2.
I rarely go to the theatre but next week, Star Trek (even tho I think its gunna suck for those of us who have watched every ST series and movie) and then Terminator: Salvation (which is the movie I REALLY wanna see).

yeah and that film sure as hell didnt impress me either
to be honest, since finding out t5 is allready planned, the franchise is dead to me. i mean i could handle t3, it was a definate step down in story telling, but it was still a pretty good movie - a GREAT movie when compared to most other films that ARENT t1 or 2... but im not looking forward to t4 as anything beyond the pretty eye candy. when terminator 11 rolls around, i suspect noone will even give a shit anymore, and theyll probably be going straight to video...

I couldn't wait for this movie. No way man.
If you want, after I see it (like I'm taking the day off work and going to get tickets in the morning so I can see it opening day....if you go say at 7pm and the movie starts at 8pm, you won't get tickets cuz it will be sold out) I can write a spoiler free mini review for you via pm. Let me know.
I dunno how old you are, but I've been waiting for this movie since I was 14 (T2 came out in 91 right?) so 18 years dude (17 years if it came out in 92).
Always wanted to see the post Judgement Day battle with Connor leading.
Hell, I remember thinking that when I saw T2 in the theatre.
When T3 was first announced, I thought half would be before JD and the second half would be right after JD.
They fucked T3 up bad.
But once all the new Terminator movies have been released and its a Saga, T3 will be ok.
Cuz isn't there supposed to be a T5 and T6 too? T5 next year and T6 in 2011? |

I would love a small review (i wanna know earlier if it sucks or not). Im almost 25 now (born in 1984) and i saw T1 and T2 like hundreds of times (sometimes when i have a couple of minutes @ home before leaving and i dont know what to do i watch the greatest scenes from T1 or T2  ).
I also always wondered what will the next Terminator movie be like - with Connor leading the human resistance, fighting the machines. Fuck, T4 MUST be good or im gonna fucking weep!
I loved the T3 ending - with the war actually starting (T1 and T2 have much more positive endings which didnt fit those movies IMO). Kinda sad but "satysfying". Plus i wonder if the motives of trust to John Connor which surfaced in Sarah Connor Chronicles are going to be in T4. It was rather interesting that Connor was a guy hidden in his room with a machine by his side. And that he trusted the machines (!!).
Im really looking forward to T4. CAN'T FUCKING WAIT! And what a long wait it is gonna be...

Sure, will send you a spoiler free mini review in pm when I see it (either on the 21st if I can get tickets, but for sure that weekend....I'll go to another city to see it if I have to but I suspect the theatre I go to will be showing it on at least 3 screens).
But yeah, the SCC show has nothing to do with the new Terminator movies (4,5,6). They (as those like behind the scenes shows/interviews) have said that.
And yeah man, I remember watching T1...wasn't bad. My fav parts were when they showed Reece in the future. Didn't really like T1 that much. T2 was awesome (arguably the best action movie ever made) and your right, the end of T3 was good cuz it showed how the war starts...but then it ends. That pissed me off a ton.
From what I've seen on TV, T4 is like the beginning of the resistance against the Machines. Like Connor devises way to kill the Cyborgs and other Machines.
No idea on what T5 and T6 are about but I assume in both T5 and T6 he will be established as the leader of the Resistance.
But in T4, he's trying to start the Resistance and shit.
Thats what I've heard anyway. I could be wrong.
Either which way, I've been waiting 18 years for this (these) movies so I'm gunna like it to a certain extent unless they completely FUCK IT UP.
What about Bale tho? This guy is set for life. He's contracted to do 2 more Batman movies I think. 2 more Terminator movies and he's done Equilibrium, American Psycho etc. He's been in some good movies and now he's Bruce Wayne/Batman and John Connor (Connor imo is the bigger character).
And he did just as good a job in Batman as Mike Keaton did. So unless he fucks up as Connor, he's gunna achieve Legend Status.
Lucky fuckin bastard.
But once he's done with both Batman and Terminator...I wonder if he will retire. I mean, you can't get anymore of an epic role than Batman and Connor.
And he's gunna be in that movie (I think its League of Nations or League of something) where Batman, Spiderman, X-Men, Iron Man, The Hulk and I think (not sure) the Fantastic Four are gunna be in.
It either comes out this year or next year around this time.
That will be sick!
This summer is packed with good movies. Fuckin GI-Joe.....have you seen his commando uniform? Fuckin BADASS! The actor....I dunno. Gunna see the movie. The actor may fuck it up cuz he's a pretty boy (have a mag with a 3 page article on GI Joe).
