I don't see how incorporating modern game elements is a bad thing. Every genre of games borrows from each other in one way or another thus we get progression. Rather then putting so much emphasis/comparison with WoW lets just say it's a much improved Lineage 2.
I'm going to let the PvP determine whether I stick around playing this game. I'm at level 17 right now so not much farther.

The source guild players are 25 for the real deal in pvp starting so they say..Anyhow you could just buy one mnth time card and chinky(no offence intended) ID and be done with it..

Well that's lame. And the level cap is 50 correct. They are basically alienating PvP by restricting lower level players from it. If they ever offer a limited free trial 90% of players will not experience PvP.
Time to do some quests I suppose.

was different days for different regions.. region 1 i know has been changed now to p2p region 2 was supposed to be 7an on the 18th, but its now 8pm on the 18th.. not checked myself just yet but im guessing that is also in p2p release now..
they were behind getting it all done but it is moving down the regions slowly.. you can tell if your in beta with no paid time to be used as it will say in chat, you have 0 time etc blah blah, if u can still play make use of it cause its meaning that the region is in mid change over..

Now bring the game to Europe, so that we can start losing even MORE time playing unending games!

still playing, i bought 100 hrs to pass the time on and off when i feel like it.. Rolled a mage/sorc and its much fun, hits hard and can get a nice run out of it before i need to rest up a bit..

ahh...i post on this here. aion europe beta start on 5th june and they give 5k keys and i missed to get one. If anyone got an extra cd key i will really appreciate if you can spare one. Thanks. Hope to see you in game.

If not open beta then there will be free trials and all that shit that happens with every MMO. I'm sure everyone will be able to try it for free.

I played Lineage 2 for almost 3yrs and I look at Aion as L3 basically. I would like to try this one and see what has been improved over L2 because playing L2 on a private server with the latest update looks and plays well. They are going to have to really do a good job on the PvP and Questing/Raids for me to commit. Shame no NA beta.

8.99 is cheap for that and headstart, not bad deal if its really all legit. I know nothing of G2play though.
If its a headstart im betting all ull have to do is sign up for mnthly account on release and not re pay for a aion copy of the software..
so 8.99 is a bargain
