This topic isn't hurting anyone. Nor is it disrupting anything. Why is its existence vexing you this much?

When you can keep up you might want to try posting again. Cedge also said he didn't see much use in this thread. I was also responding to you about the claim of the thread being useful.

Nowhere in this thread did I claim it's overly useful. You're just pulling crap from nowhere.

The point still stands. All you're doing in this thread is trolling. There's no harm to it, so please, stop trolling. It's not very nice.

Forget what you wrote?

Crossmr, shut it. This thread is of use to me. Stop trolling.

The point still stands. Someone claiming that a thread which only lists 20% of the current sales as useful is trolling. Not someone who calls it out for being a poor duplication of already much more complete information. You guys are basically tripping all over yourself to make claims that just don't exist. First the OP claims the steam forum thread has less information than this one, which is false, then you claim no one else thinks this thread is pointless which is false, then you try and claim you didn't say something you obviously did.

I said it was of use to me. I didn't say it was OVERLY useful.

There's a difference. So yeah, I didn't say something you put in my mouth.

This thread would only be trolling if it was posted on the Steam forums. It's not. It's basically a thread for any deals involving Steam.

Does the official Steam thread contain information about G2Play and other sites that sell Steam Keys for cheap?

I never said this thread was trolling. As I said, when you can keep up, try posting again.
I said you were trolling for claiming a thread with only 20% of the information is useful compared to a much more long term source of information that has all the sales and several other useful pieces of information about steam offers. If you want to argue about the finer points, this thread was made to be about steam offers, g2play and other sites are pretty much off-topic, they're not steam offers.

Yeah, I bought L4D for a friend last week and the key arrived within a minute. It seems they've improved on their system with an automatic mailer or something now. Back then it used to take anywhere from five minutes to a couple of days.

Wow. Sorry for trying to point out there were several more sales above and beyond what was listed here as I was under the impression that "New Steam Offers" referred to the sales being made on steam and not some 3rd party site.

Battleforge for 49,99 euro!

It's retarded!

On g2play.pl can buy this one for 91.31 PLN (about 20 euros).

In the UK you can get the full Eidos collection for £52. Here in Europe it's €100. Yet more Valve "We Fuck Europe!" bullshit, if you ask me.

I have to say this is probably the best deal since a year or so. Haven't been so cheap since a long time and it's a great package.

Valve does not set the prices for any region, or any of the price conversions, for third-party games on Steam. The publishers do. It's up to them, to choose fair conversions, or not.

Put the blame on them, not Valve.

More like five games with replay value ranging from decent, to incredible.

It was half-off, a few weeks ago. Also, as of right now, the MSRP for the retail version has dropped to $30, so if you can find it, that's currently the best deal.

Bullshit.

Got any proof on that? Because I'm sorry, I just don't see EVERY SINGLE 3rd party publisher suddenly turning round, at the same time, and saying; "Hold on! Let's charge in EUROs and we'll make double the money!!"

Source.

not only that...
but Valve games are also more expensive in € than in $... sometimes it looks like they only changed the $ sign to €... e.g. OB - $9.99 to 9,99€... 30% more expensive...
one of the reasons why I never bought games over steam - just let someone gift it to me... Wink
