downloaded pal release.
Xbox is flashed with 1.51, still game wont work.
Says play dvd(doesn't recognize it as a game apparently), and when it tries to play the dvd it shows the white screen with the xbox logo on.

I had exactly the same thing. Reburned and it worked fine. I've had a coupole of discs fail over the years on the 360 and have never had this exact problem before. Whenever it has happened in the past it has said that it was an unreadable disc. I've never had the play DVD thing before.

Belgian stores are not allowed to sell dvd/cd media to consumers anymore.
They can sell to businesses though, have yet to find a store which does not care about it.
Online stores even eBay don't ship to Belgium either.

yeah, typical Belgian that's all i can say about it.
Though i can just do to Germany(maybe even Holland/Netherlands) and get some there.
But that's not always the cheapest solutions sadly.

That's what i am going to have to do, since i used up my last Verbatim DL for this game.

Yeah ok. You just keep on wasting your money on Verbatim discs, which by the way are always different media codes anyway with every different lot I've ever had. It's not like they actuallly make the discs themselves. All that they do is rebrand them.

The very few bad burns I've had with much cheaper media is nothing when you consider the sheer amount of money that I would have spent more if I'd wasted my money only using verbatim media Rolling Eyes

I order my discs from www.opusshop.nl Very good prices and I'm sure that they'll ship to Belgium.

Are you kidding, one of the EU Parliaments is based their and we all know how democratic the EU is. Try asking asking people in the EU how much say they've had!. Britain's never even had a say on being in it

no it dint pass stealth check, but i burned it anyway.
When starting the game it said it needed to update.

With this game i get a nice looking riddick logo too.

So in reality you are hoping you don't get kicked from XBOX Live on the next update because you don't check
