This game is just a sad WoW wannabe. It tries to be WoW so much and obviously fails, they have to give away their game for free lol. This is a game for WoW haters, who's ignorance is so big that they rather play a lesser clone game instead of the real thing.

It's nothing like "The Smurfs Online". I dont know where you got the idea they give it away for free either.

The dx10 visuals are nice though, i played it a while back, but the lack of pvp etc was what finished it for me really.. Although ripping hobbit ears off as monster play was amusing.

Lotro is very nice done. quests etc ae very nice done. It is 99% pve though. Which may be considered a downside (for those needing pvp anyways).

I thought LOTRO was a very nice game. Especially if you're into Lord Of The Rings. The attention to detail (like Frodo's cloak being left on the steps) is pretty incredible.
The DX 10 visuals are very nicely done.
I just went with WAR. Currently, I don't have any MMO subscription for the first time in a long time. They all feel the same in the end.
There needs to be something new brought to the table. The whole Fantasy/sorcery thing is getting rather old to me and I am also tired of the same old combat mechanics.
People can call games WOW clones all they want... but WOW was nothing more than Everquest 1.5. WoW did at least improve on some things though... like quests... being able to actually buy useful items. Etc. Etc. WAR improved upon the PVP (which was already done by DAOC) but it was fun along with a few innovative things like Public Quests (which were fun as well).
I guess I am looking for something with real time combat and/or some drastically different setting. The button mashing mechanic is getting a bit stale for me.
1 stripe purple belt in JiuJitsu (good grief this takes FOREVER hahah)

I think things get boring when you loose good groups of people to mess around in a game with, personaly I believe anyone could have mass fun in all games, be it mmo,fps,fpsmmo types etc.
As long as people stick together, and do things together, without the "I want the I WIN button and must have all the high end items" syndrome then you can all have a great experience.
Trouble is alot of the gamers these days have gone all me me me etc, sucks and even getting into a guild in lots of mmo's ive found of late just seems to of adopted the, "We started before you, were level cap, we are now a clicky group of 10 here at the top" etc. Thats not saying they say this in the open, but its usually damn obvious none the less.
The sea dogs guild on K8p in WaR had a great bunch of funny people of more mature age, but alas they have all disspersed and its a ghost town, seems to happen all the fracking time.

its 10 day yes, i have the game yondaime had it ages when i played it to level 50 on my archer, was just looking for a good run to see how its all doing thats all..
