doesn't matter if he has a dev kit ps3 in his house or not, the fact is that you can play copies on it - which isn't of much use, since you need to activate every dev kit firmware upgrade (that certain games need) with a special code from sony - so unless this activation can be cracked somehow, i don't really see a future in using dev kit firmwares to play backups, even if you manage to install them on normal end-user ps3's

Dude, that is so stupid. What's the point of selling alot of console and never make any money from people who pirate games? They're not even making any profit or just breaking even on those console in the first place. Honestly, how many games have you bought for your 360? Prob none.

Oh what you mean from the tiny amount of gameplay we've seen of the 'swarm' mode, which is obviously designed to be arcade like. Don't make such asinine assumptions.

i think ShadowX was saying he is a pirate and he bought tjhese games for his X360 (i'm not sure he even has a PS3)... Notice how all these games are out for X360 too and not PS3 exclusive.

Its already a media center and you already can install games, but have to burn them on a disc for 1 euro, big fucking deal.
