Why do i have a felling that both will be bug infested games the first couple of months. I think we should keep or expectation down so it will be better to be surprised.

I agree these games do have the chance of being bug infested, which of course will be abit of a disappointment. Yet i still think that ArmA2 will be one of the best games to be released this year.
Hell, ArmA is still amongst my favourite games and I still play it, with mods the game reaches new heights - Realistic ballistics and other mods that enhance the realism is just win.

But this is definitely one of the games i am going to buy.

to be honest, ARMA2 has a pretty good chance to be not bugged game when released. thats because its finished ARMA1 Smile I mean ARMA1 was something like beta for this. Also dont think the devs want to do same mistake twice.

Dunno... This is one of the games i install when i buy a new graphics card, but it keeps crashing all the time. Ati or Nvidia, tried diffrent chipsets, diffrent cpu, it's all the same. Mostly extreme graphic corruption or ctd. The game just won't let me play it Very Happy

This game makes me so hard ...
Cant wait to finally play it after watching that video - Only downside was the footsteps, for me the sound was way to high, also the player didnt know about tactics.

But hope the Multiplayer side of the game is as good as in ArmA 1.

arma is a great combat simulation game, all the main mod packs will prob be going over to arma2 so might be worth waiting till its out i guess...
But on that front arma will still be played im sure as it has already a good establishes amount of all in one mod packs/maps/scriptings/sounds packs/textures.. etc etc..

Highly recomend arma 115 or 1.16 with the ace mod.

I would sell my left nut to be able to play it now..

The TrackIR is just über.. Sadly finances are abit short these days, would be great to play ArmA with it.

ArmA has lots of commands for manually looking both where you want to and how you want to with your keyboard, POV joystick, or even your mouse. I mean, yeah it'd be nice to have anyway but it doesn't really change the game, just makes it more natural.

...so I wouldn't get too disheartened. I remembered the same videos for ArmA and yeah they are cool to watch but I ultimately ended up playing the game the same way using a keyboard and mouse.
