It does for me using Glottis trick (I have a nvidia).

On the other hand I'm having the dreaded always-rotating camera bug introduced by my gamepad. I don't know how to fix this as there's no control configuration.

I'm tired of all those PC games that havent been tested with different gamepad types... Kinda ruins the fun...

AA works fine from CCC control panel on my 4850CF by renaming exe to MassEffect.exe.

Anyone know how to fix the problem where the y-axis on the movement stick is inverted? I tried to enable the "invert y-axis" option, but that doesn't do anything. I have logitech dual action g-pad.

To fix the problems related to gamepad in the game, you need to install Xbox 360 controller emulator in your game exe directory .

I found that the following xbox360emu.ini suited best my Logitech pad.

I think getting a 360 pad is really worth it, now 98% of recent games are 100% compatible with it and even show you the appropriate 360 buttons. I got mine and I'm pretty satisfied with it
emulator was just too much work and hassle for me

Had the same problem with GTA4 + Vista(kind of strange that under Windows 7 it works fine).

Open the xbox360cemu.ini file and change

That worked for me.
