But the review itself quite positive, this paragraph got me REALLY interested
Spoiler: | Even though your enemies are as dumb as wood, they still create a feeling of empathy not present in many war games. As you sneak around bases, you can eavesdrop on conversations that give your attackers personality. For instance, in one level, two soldiers quarrel over a stolen bar of chocolate, and in another, they reminisce about the women and wine they enjoyed in France. But these conversations are not merely superfluous looks at the yearnings of a soldier. Sometimes they reveal their darker side, which makes it more rewarding to kill them off. In one level, a soldier explains in meticulous detail how best to burn bodies that have been dumped in a ditch. In the prison level, a soldier proposes a game of rabbit hunt: a disgusting activity that involves shooting prisoners as they try to run free. There are also letters scattered throughout the levels that show the desperation that some of these troops felt. One soldier writes a heartfelt letter to his wife, telling her how miserable and suffocating military life is. These emotional moments paint the soldiers as real people and add a lot of weight to your actions. |

As with every game you either like it or you dont , that U not think this game deserves a 7.5 is your right but there are others including the reviewer that disagrees with you and think this game deserves a 7.5
I never listen to review I do read them but prefer to go with my own personal views on a game my standarts are not that high I preview gameplay over graphics while there is alot other people that rather look at graphics then gameplay , anyway as long a game for me is entertaining thats all I need from a game and for the rest I dont care what others think because everyone has his own thoughts about games.
What a boring world would it be if we all thought the same dont you think ?

Feels like a dumbed-down mix of Hitman and Thief. Rather disappointing in all ways, though.

Getting the game to work great so far, no problems, lags or crashes at all. That is, all the way until havving killed the butcher in the crypts tower.. as the game tries to load the next level, "leave the light on" it invariably crashes. Has anyone encountered the same problem or know of a fix?
All previous levels worked great.

The funny thing is I completed playing the game yesterday & this morning when I turned ON my PC, Kaspersky gave me an alert saying security threat found & needs to be neutralized. I checked & found that the replay.exe was detected as a Trojan.Win32.Agent.duu virus. Deleted it immediately. What was that all about? It never gave me a warning before when I was playing the game? Anyone else with similar issue? Or was this just one more false positive?

Game Notes
~~~~~~~~~~
As World War II wages outside of a lonely hospital window, it also plays
inside of the mind of Violette Summer. While in a coma, the British
Intelligence agent relives both the hushed and heavy horrors the she
experienced while sabotaging the Nazi regime. Inspired by real-life WWII
heroine Violette Szabo, Velvet Assassin reveals the revulsions of war that
are never spoken aloud. Through third person game play, sneak up on enemies
and pull the pins from their belted grenades. Infiltrate a Nazi camp and
slip cyanide to your own men before the Germans make them talk. Slink
through the shadows to finish off your unsuspecting enemies with a single,
perfectly aimed shot. Through VioletteÆs fever dreams, experience what she
experienced. Walk where she walked. Kill those she killed.
Isn't that the update mentioned previously, was released shortly after the game itself and there was no list of changes, patches the EXE file and some other things.
Game itself was OK albeit very short and the story wasn't all that good but it worked out OK for this mix of sneak and action game.
(Works with the Rev loader as well but it's not really required as both the original game and update #1 are already cracked.)
It began. Valve will start charging $10/month for access to your games. You are affected in advance because you are in the beta.
