Wow guys, you so smart and cool, and some kind of oracles or something, because you can judge a game by only its title and a few screenshots, not even videos. Wow!

lol 14k posts and still didn't figure out that nfs is shitty game for "wanna be gangsta" kiddies
thx to american market and couple millions of consumers
which all looks like this:
ea will recycle this pos every year cause they know that always will be "new" customers/consumers who will "hear" about NFS and somehow have to play it
just like a dope dealer he knows u desperately need dope (in this "modern" consume and obey/no brain no pain world every1 already is like on drugs) so quality isn't important just quantity and "plastic surgery" so that ppl who buy new quad sli's/cf's could say "omg this looks awesome"
fcuk everything else just pump graphics..... thats just lame or "easy money" if u work in dev/publish teams/companies
Yep, with that post you have seriously proven you completely suck at internets. Perhaps you should read some info on the game? It will make you look less 1976.
But yet again, you are that onepostwonder that hates every game that looks good. So why do I bother?
If you want to ripoff look/feel of GRID why not instead make the game like NFS: Most Wanted and combine with GRID gfx/etc.
If not, fuking call it: Need for GRID.
Wasn't GRID called PGR4 ripoff? Wasn't PGR4 called Forza2 ripoff? Wasn't Forza2 called GT4 ripoff? Wasn't GT4 called some other arcade-sim racing game ripoff? Wasn't the second ever racing game called the first ever racing game ripoff?

Did you by any chance drive a car in each and everyone of them?!
Need for Speed Shift seems to have a little delay: the releasedate in Europe changed from September 17th to one week later: September 24th 2009!
The release of the game in North America was planned for September 22, but it's not sure yet, if it stays like this. It's expected also to change to a later relasedate.
I will say *EXACTLY* what I said on a forum I use all day every day.
I would like to just say that I think instead of getting better.. the Need For Speed series have just gone completely and utter fucked up.
The start of the major fuck up was Pro Street. We then had Need For Speed Undercover. It was better, but it still wasn't right.. and now, after seeing this new gameplay footage of Shift, I have lost all confidence in this series. I'm not even going to think on how shit this is going to be. People LOVED Most Wanted and Carbon because it was open world, and they keep resorting back to track type ones. it's not going to work.
If you want a track type game, then go to Codemasters, because I don't care what people say, and I know alot will agree with me, GRID IS the greatest track racing game ever to be released so far. DIRT was just as great.
Need For Speed started getting well known, and sold millions when Most Wanted come out. Underground 1 and 2 were'nt bad, but Most Wanted made them go 2 steps forward, and then they made Carbon, it was good, but not as good as Most Wanted, that was 1 step back, and then Pro Street. I would have to say a good 5 steps back on that one. They done Undercover, and although the graphics we're not exaclty great, and the handling was poor, they made an improvement. 2 steps forward, but now after seeing this..
I'm disgusted.
it either turns out good or EA finally realize that they've sucked the open-world racing dry after doing underground 1+2, most wanted, carbon copy and most wanted 2 copy-paste-edition and that they shouldn't mess with 4 established franchises in terms of track racing, especially after fucking up their 2nd game in that sub-genre.
maybe, just maybe then they'll go back to their roots and bring us hot pursuit 3
This isn't even developed by EA's in-house developers, they basically bought the game from an independent developer, taking the game engine from the WIP-game "Ferrari Project" and making a new NFS game from that. It looks like NFS is going the GRiD-route. If it's executed well we may have a reboot of the whole franchise that was nearly killed with PoS and Underblower.
