He's a fucking stave-church burner, let the bastard rot in jail. I'm absolutely non-religious, but those stave-churches were constructed hundreds and hundreds of years ago and are epic to look at, with a grand history. Burning them down is a pathetic act of cowardice and immaturity.
Burning those churches was, I think, the one redeeming feature of an otherwise wortless piece of human garbage. Burn them all down I say! Churches, synagogues, temples, mosques and all.

Think he was 18 when he killed Øystein Aarseth (front person in BM band Mayhem) So its all a black metal drama, lol. Anyway the fucker is 36 years old now.

Varg Vikernes (pronounced [varɡ ˈviːkeɳes]) born 11 February 1973 near Bergen, Norway) is a Norwegian black metal musician, convicted murderer and arsonist, and (former) far-right political activist. In 1991 Vikernes conceived the one-man music project Burzum, which quickly became popular within the early Norwegian black metal scene. Vikernes was sentenced to a 21 years in prison for the August 1993 murder of Øystein Aarseth (aka 'Euronymous') of Mayhem and for the burning of three Christian churches in Norway (he was also strongly suspected of burning a fourth). I don't think anyone really knows if Varg killed him in self defense or not. Some people say he did it in cold blood. He claims he did it in self defense, and that Øystein was trying to kill him... but sounds like BS.

Hmm. If I recall corectly Vikernes traveled pretty far with weapons in his car to kill Euronymous, so I think it´s a pretty safe bet it was planned. Murder in other words.
