Blame the consoles and their shitty video cards. I just wish we pc gamers would get better gfx.
I wonder what ati and nvidia are going to do if things continue this way. Nowadays a middle-end card is more than enough to play any console game with maxed settings.

Dunno why people are complaining about the graphics, it looks better than CoD 4 for me and Cod 4 still looks great nowadays... It's no Crysis, sure but I definitely prefer the artistitc direction of CoD than Crysis.

it's not supposed to be a bad thing, it is one.
the point is that if games didn't get gimped because of the consoles, they'd look awesome.
yes, you couldn't play them on max with an average card, but you could play them on medium. and they'd look the same as they do now, while maxed.

i don't have an investment to justify, since my 8800gt wasn't too expensive. i'd love to see some games that would make wanna buy a better card, though. sadly there aren't any, since they all look like crap lately, because, thanks to the awesome power of the mind, people convince themselves that the graphics from recent games is 'good enough'.
well, no. they were good 5 years ago and they were good enough 4 years ago. now they're just plain ugly. sure, there are a some games that look top notch, but they're too few to serve as anything else than a comparison, so you could see how crap the rest are.
oh, and i'd rather take good gameplay over graphics, but most of the mainstream stuff is so dumbed down that 10 year olds can enjoy them (ok, maybe some slower developing teens too), so there's not much else to hope for but graphics. or gameplay and awesomeness from the indies, who always deliver. i'd rather play some 2d platformer with a 4 colour palette, than the drab stuff that we get under the label of console-ports. bleh.

it's always about money, nobody really cares about customers at the end, they just slapping new gfx cards every 6 months [wohooo u get xtra 500 shaders so u can play crysis at more fps] while games look like that they looked couple of years ago but for some reason [yeah blame consoles and not devs that have their hands growing out of their asses when it comes to pc] runs crappier

Complaining about Modern warfare 2 latest trailer graphics!? Graphics looked to me like a movie rather than a game. Definitely far better than Crysis. I'm sure that system requirements will be less demanding than Crysis. Game of the year for sure.

Too bad we are only playing the game from one POV. Damn it, I want more than one POV. It has seemed to have gotten lesser and lesser from the journey from COD 1 to COD 6...
1 and 2 are still amazing.

Some thoughts regarding the trailer:
1. Cool, there is an airport shootout.
2. Civilians! There are civilians running. Has there ever been civilians in a cod game? In these ages where wars are supposed to look as clean as possible, it´s not very common with civilians.
3. The castle map looks crazy. Can we hope for something cool in the mp department here? Imagine one team planting a bomb in the other teams headquarters, going in with copters and shit.
4. Underwater, snow scooters, brazil, castle headquarters, overload. This is quality right here.
How anyone can not be hyped after watching this is beyond me.

Anyone who says any game today has better gfx than Crysis clearly lacks the computer to handle it on max. There is not a single game today, that tops Crysis in terms of graphics.
Also, people complaining about having to spend 200$ each four months on computer upgrades, clearly never has been, or will be, a computer gamer. It does not cost nearly that much to keep a computer up to date.

You didn't say proof of gameplay.
You're arguing from an unwinnable angle here, mate. The very idea of a trailer is to generate hype and desire - this newest trailer has done that. Obviously it doesn't work for you, which is all well and good, so just let it go already and stop getting on the cases of those that HAVE enjoyed it. Sound good?

We pretty much know how the game will be. Campaign similar or better to the first and multiplayer definitely improved upon the previous.
