Still sound like religious zealots to me. We havent seen proof of anything other then that graphics will be pretty much like the first one. And the latest vid showed nothing new what so ever. except dont speak in russian.

The thing about Modern Warfare is that it was awesome. This is pretty much an established fact. So, logically, a sequel/follow-up which is "more of the same!" could, and should, also be awesome. Right?
The trailer showed loads of action, vehicles, explosions, areas.
Sounds good enough for me. Who gives a fuck if the graphics are the same? Seriously, if you want "graphics!!" go play Crysis Wars.
DLC details, some new missions, bit early in my opinion (Game isn't out yet, could just pack this with the main game.) but hopefully it'll hit the other platforms as well.
Oh for the love of GOD! So lemme get this straight; the game isn't even out yet, nor will it be for another 5 months - but they're already talking about DLC that is coming at launch!? Why the hell don't they just include that "DLC" with the retail game!?
This is just getting pathetic now, but no doubt the "gamers" like Cedge will applaud this decision
Fuck gaming. It's dissolving into nothing but a festering pile of shit, with companies constantly screwing us all over. Bring back the days of the SNES and PS1, please.
I don't give a toss about DLC, it's just getting way out of hand now. If/when I get MW2, it'll just be the vanilla game and that's it. The motion-tracker on that gun kinda made up for my disappointment at the DLC
Shush you guys, you are expecting way too much!!1 You should know, Cedge has played since the days Pac-Man cost $50, so you have no right demanding more!!1

And hey, since you don't seem to mind, I guess I'll just say that "gamers" like you are the reason it sucks to be a game developer now. They want everything, they want it dirt-cheap, and they want it to meet a billion minuscule demands. Don't take too long with sequels, but not too short either. All games must have the same amount of content.
Because of their insane demands, they create a market in which only the largest and most brutally efficient developers (like EA, for instance) can really thrive, and then they complain about these giant game corporations.
Umm for the DLC discussion perhaps I've misunderstood what some of you are going on about but just to clarify that video and such in the article I posted are from the E3 demonstration showcase and part of the game, those DLC "missions" are most likely MP maps like the other things for CoD 4 and CoD 5 (Bit unsure about DLC for those titles though.)
I meant that previous DLC for CoD 5 and MW were mainly map packs (Console exclusive) similar to what this will be, or atleast that's what I know about the previous DLC for these titles.
That's also true, why not bundle those extra maps with the main game directly, it can obviously be done as it's not "gold" yet (Disc sent for replication or what it's called).

Yep and that's exactly why we're pissed. To be perfectly honest, IW shouldn't have mentioned "new maps" or "DLC". If they'd have just kept it quiet until AFTER the game is released, I doubt many - if any - of us would have complained. It was just the announcement before the game had even gone gold that annoyed me - if there's "extra" maps, why not just include them in the proper game?
If they'd kept quiet, then we wouldn't even know and any DLC coming "later" would be welcomed! Now it just seems like they've cut a chunk out of the game before release in the hopes of milking more money via DLC.
It's in extremely bad taste to announce DLC for a game that hasn't even come out yet - let alone DLC that is supposed to launch at the same time as the retail game.
...also, look at it from the perspective of a console gamer; their games have very short (perceived) lifespans and DLC and multiplayer are seen as bonuses to them. Not that I'm agreeing with the practice per se, but if the core game is good enough I can't complain.
Same demo as before but he answers a lot of question, one guy asked him will the campaign be longer since the last one was so fucking short he said the levels are bigger not much hope there, damn multiplayer focus!
