Also playing evil this time, and man, i just love the Evil sidequests.
But, there is one sidequest i so hate, that i have got 3times now. The "clean the walls of my house"
Dear god, i just wanna killsomeone when i get that quest.
Otherwise, its the first SP game i really love. Been into MP/MMO games only with the exception of some RPG's out there, namely Fallout3/Oblivion.
Defenite worth the money. Also got the uncharted 2 beta... will try it out i guess |
You guessed wrong, you should give it to me

Are you talking about the camera quests, if you are, those are probably the most annoying quests in the game.

I would just wait, I don't think they have it up anyway...Plus I dont wanna take a chance on screwing up my code or something and not being able to use it.

Finally tried the demo today. Didn't like it. The climbing was great though.

this is the first game that i actually enjoy playing sidemissions. in other games like GTA or Saints Row, i usually limit myself to the mainstory, but in infamous they're fun.
it's fun to jump around looking for the shards or eaves drops and try to conquer the whole city. I actually wanted to control 100% of the first island before going on with the main story and gain access to the second island.
best game i've played this year together with wolverine, not too hard, just plain fun after a day at work.

I agree with ThOMaZ, even the side missions in this game are fun. There is a decent enough variety of them, and there's not too many of them like most sandbox games. I wish there was some way to track your shards or somehow see where they all are after doing something (say, beating the game), but it does let you know how many you have once you get somewhere over 300 (!).
Nonetheless, this is some of the most fun I've had in a while when it comes to games. Highly recommended.

For the shards, when you press the left stick, it shows you all the electric devices (marked as a lightening bolt). It also shows you the shards (blue dots). But you have to be pretty close to them for them to appear on your map after pressing R3.

AM, I do realize that they're not mandatory, but if I want to do 100% completion, I'd rather there be a decent number (read: not 1000...exaggeration) that are enjoyable, which drives me to complete all of them. Although, if they don't feel like a chore, then I suppose the number might not matter as long as the variety is kept up. Also, I personally feel that "sandbox-Style" game developers often throw in as many side missions as possible (with little consideration to what/how they are) simply to claim that the game lasts (x) number of hours, or has (x) amount of replayability.
And ThOMaZ, I know about that, but at this point, I have 5 shards left and trying to locate them on all three islands might take a little while. I'm sure I'll do it, but it'd be nice if there was a better way given that I've already found so many.
