Really like the game so far, just hit the second Island.

Also playing evil this time, and man, i just love the Evil sidequests.
But, there is one sidequest i so hate, that i have got 3times now. The "clean the walls of my house"

Dear god, i just wanna killsomeone when i get that quest.

Otherwise, its the first SP game i really love. Been into MP/MMO games only with the exception of some RPG's out there, namely Fallout3/Oblivion.

Defenite worth the money. Also got the uncharted 2 beta... will try it out i guess Wink

Is the Uncharted 2 beta only available if you pre ordered or is there a key in all boxes?

Officially only for pre-orders but play.com still offers beta keys afaik.
I got my copy from www.blahdvd.com and they already shipped it yesterday and i payed £36.99 but they dont give out any Uncharted 2 beta keys anymore so youre only bet is play.com i guess. (they also have the game already in stock and are shipping it)

Are you talking about the camera quests, if you are, those are probably the most annoying quests in the game.

Can anyone confirm that the uncharted 2 BETA key isnt working yet? usually i can download a beta game already before the official date when it starts. It gives me a invalid code message. Sad

I finally received the game and its even better then the demo, gameplay wise the climbing is done well and the fighting is fresh and quick and a cool thing is after the first mission they rate your skills and then you get promoted to the suggested difficulty so i am since playing on hard. Graphics wise this game blows me away, nice detail and a big city you can freeroam in that is actually fun to do and collecting the blue shards helps with that also the electricity and explosions are cool to see Smile.
Also the story is told by a comic style art and i am really digging that.

I got my Uncharted 2 beta key and a wine coupon of 40 pounds ? with it so i am very pleased as i picked this one up for 43 € at blahdvd.com.

this is the first game that i actually enjoy playing sidemissions. in other games like GTA or Saints Row, i usually limit myself to the mainstory, but in infamous they're fun.
it's fun to jump around looking for the shards or eaves drops and try to conquer the whole city. I actually wanted to control 100% of the first island before going on with the main story and gain access to the second island.

best game i've played this year together with wolverine, not too hard, just plain fun after a day at work.

I agree with ThOMaZ, even the side missions in this game are fun. There is a decent enough variety of them, and there's not too many of them like most sandbox games. I wish there was some way to track your shards or somehow see where they all are after doing something (say, beating the game), but it does let you know how many you have once you get somewhere over 300 (!).

Nonetheless, this is some of the most fun I've had in a while when it comes to games. Highly recommended.

How can there ever be too many side missions? You do realise they aren't mandatory? Rolling Eyes

For the shards, when you press the left stick, it shows you all the electric devices (marked as a lightening bolt). It also shows you the shards (blue dots). But you have to be pretty close to them for them to appear on your map after pressing R3.

AM, I do realize that they're not mandatory, but if I want to do 100% completion, I'd rather there be a decent number (read: not 1000...exaggeration) that are enjoyable, which drives me to complete all of them. Although, if they don't feel like a chore, then I suppose the number might not matter as long as the variety is kept up. Also, I personally feel that "sandbox-Style" game developers often throw in as many side missions as possible (with little consideration to what/how they are) simply to claim that the game lasts (x) number of hours, or has (x) amount of replayability.

And ThOMaZ, I know about that, but at this point, I have 5 shards left and trying to locate them on all three islands might take a little while. I'm sure I'll do it, but it'd be nice if there was a better way given that I've already found so many.

Is there a point to scene releases of PS3 games?

in 10 years you can play them with an emulator on a pc

in the time being I think there is no Home PC that can Handle Emulate the current gen of consoles{360,PS3} outside of Wii.
Emulate strong Hardware{relatively;} will required
a very,very powerful processor.
maybe then,the emulators will support
more then 2 cores now...
