Or is it just decoration?

glad u liked it
there is no special tornado suckage or shit like that, u just get hit by an objects which may auto reset your vehicle, just like in Pure
altho Pure is fun for what it is, this is just 5 years down the drain for making generic racer with some visual active scenery
now i'm gonna patiently wait for TDU2, which is still ultimate free roam racer

Nothing special to be honest kinda dissapointing it is.
It feels so bland and boring, also way to many loading screens that annoy me.

Ok, out of all the people that have played it, no one likes it!?
I´ll withdraw my comment in the pc section (saying it looked good) and let this game pass...

drive in a stright line and see how long it takes you to get from 1 side of the map to the other side.
just curious how long it would be. the map is so freaking HUGE!

I remember reading somewhere that it takes 3 hours to drive from one end of the map to the other.
This game is already in the Guiness Book of World Records for having the largest playable environment in a videogame - 5,560 square miles of accessible in-game terrain.

Uh it's not the same. Baja is a realistic racer, almost a hardcore simulator. Realistic handling and stuff. When you get a hang of it the feeling of going fast on these insanely long tracks is great. So it's not boring for people (me) who like realistic driving games. Fuel, on the other hand, is boring because it's simply shit.

This.
I enjoyed Baja, and dislike Fuel.
Huge open world, pretty graphics and weather. Oh shit, we need a physics engine! let's take some dated pre-built bullshit arcade-racer engine and just slap it on there. Ugh.
Watercooled 5950X | AORUS Master X570 | Asus RTX 3090 TUF Gaming OC | 64Gb RAM | 1Tb 970 Evo Plus + 2Tb 660p | etc etc

the track selections are also nicely done. You can also drive bikes, quads, buggys, trucks, SUVs and muscle cars... hehe.
It may not be a very realistic feeling of driving but I like how its done..since im not into these "ultra realistic" physics driving games that are completely uncontrolable unless you play 10 hours per day - i like how anyone can achieve good times and racing experiences in this game. I think I like driving with the bikes most. Due to the open world you can choose the route you take and may get an advantage or disadvantage from not following the recommended GPS ways. The AI also sometimes take alternate routes and kicks your ass hehe...
Another thing I dont like are the wrecks on the street in some areas...always crashing against them..especially when its dark + storm! lol.
All in all I love fuel! If you hate it then just don't play it...no one is forcing you to.
