I think they have watched too much John Woo movies, but thats a good thing. I really liked the action. I just hope there is non-lethal solutions to play that part. I like splinter cell series because you don't necessary need to kill anyone. Give that option for player.

Am I the only one who cried at the end of the video. And those were NOT tears of joy.
Someone please tell me this isn't happening. Sam fired more bullets in this short trailer than in the first four sequels combined. I couldn't belive the directors words: "...ultimate PREDATOR".
Ultimate predator my ass. I can only hope that guns blazing was just one way of eliminating those guys, otherwise, this will turn out to be just another generic TPS.

Kind of agree. From the video it only seems to be action, and this is not Splinter Cell. We have to see what happens with it.
Watching the gameplay a few more times and listening to the E3 commentary, it looks like they are trying to achieve a very Bourne-like experience, which can mean it is not a bad thing at all.

this trailer looks bad, the gameplay is bad, SC is supposed to be stealth game and not some rambo like...wtf is this, stranglehold, cod, gfnd...i played every SC game, and the best was Chaos Theory, it has the best gameplay, missions, graphics etc, double agent is good but not so good as CT... conviction, phh, u are now rambo xD, some red dots ahead of enemy heads, wtf, and the scene on the stairs, it looks as it has some kind of slow motion, and as far i remember in last SC game if were shoted once or twice u were dead, and now, nothing...some of the worst gameplay videos ever

Probably a timed exclusive... Anyone watched the Ubi conference? I can't find anything about exclusivity in the highlights.

Sony did this exclusivity bullshit alot in the past, so props to MS I'd say. And I'd much rather have Xbox exclusivity, because it highly increases the chances of a potential PC release.

No  It's exclusive for consoles to the 360. In the videos from E3 (linked below), a producer says it's coming to 360 and PC.

Yup SC Conviction is for PC/X360.But basically E3 is a console event.No one cares about PCs there :|Thats why they dont mention pc on many titles cuz its all about console wars between Microsoft and Sony.

The only thing that pissed me off in the trailer was the "auto-aim mode" that appeared like a red circle over enemies and/or environments targets....I really hope they'll remove it (or simply put an option to disable it) into the pc version!

that wasn't auto-aim that was Sam's new ability to mark the enemies and rapidily eliminate them

Actually when I played CT, I missed the ability to sometimes just go in and kill everyone in the room in certain places, without getting penalized (like in First SC).
But if the whole game is, find a guy, beat him up, get answers, beat some more, then this won't be a true Sam Fisher.
