Quote:
Adapted from the Hugo Award-winning, internationally best-selling novel, Coraline is a spine-tingling tale about a curious girl who unlocks a mysterious door in her family's new home and enters into an adventure in a parallel reality. On the surface, this "Other World" eerily mimics her own life - though it is much more fantastical. In it, Coraline encounters different versions of her own life, including off-kilter neighbors and an Other Mother who attempts to keep her forever. Ultimately, Coraline must rely on her resourcefulness, determination and bravery to get back home.

been waiting for this for a while, selick is awesome.. people always see nightmare and are all 'holy shit burtons the man...' but this is the guy the directed it for shits sake... its not right that he doesnt get the same respect that burton did for that classic Sad anyway, just on his name alone ive been waiting for this... grabbing the trailer now.

edit:

ahh such a pity it doesnt give any story information to flesh out what imdb states... but visually it looks beautiful, i continue to look forward too it, im sure it'll be a great watch.

Just watched it, it was a great film. I love animations, especially if they are so close to the dark style of Tim Burton's films Smile

I watched it last month, and it was a bit creepy, nothing much, but I wouldn't say that it's a movie for kids (at least not really young ones)...
