nice to see MGS back on the PC!. Hope they are going to go with 1080i/p on the graphics this time on the PS3.

Well I'm not a big MGS fan, so I don't really care too much, but it being an exclusive to the 360 would be like the Konami and the MGS team trolling their fans. lol

Eh, almost as big of a trolling as when they moved the series from it's first large fanbase, which was NES owners?  |
Metal Gear was first released for the MSX2. Then it went to NES, PS1, PS2, PSP and PS3, plus that MGS1 remake on the GC. If there's any fanbase that has to be respected, it should be the Playstation series one. 
It doesn't make any sense to make this one an X360 exclusive. It's not even a Japanese console.

Meh.
I don't much like to draw assumptions from anything when there's so little information available, but anyways:
- First of all they've dropped the "Tactitac Espionage Action" and instead we get a "Lightning Bolt Action". Does this mean that it's a more action oriented game? If so it may lose some of it's appeal when compared to the other recent MGS games.
- Second, according to what Hideo Kojima said ("I didn't say anything about Solid Snake.") and from the only picture available so far, it seems that the game will feature that gay ass cyborg Raiden as the lead. 
I'll shut up now and wait for more info though.

Yeah, Raiden was pretty cool. Don't see why he gets a lot of flak. The only thing against him is his face, which is just off from the rest of the game.

To me he's a lot cooler than snake, who's dying btw. Raiden is a cyborg and has wicked moves with a sword

PS2 in my case(only played MGS up until the third, and from what I've seen from the 4th he doesn't seem to be that different).

This "raiden" sucks thing is just PS3 fanboys crying... MGS2 was one of the best game ever, Raiden or not.. If you dont care about his face then dont look at his face, but the story was awesome, the voice acting was too and so was the music and if it's the same for this MGS, then it's gonna rock too.

The Raiden sucks meme-thing (which I don't subscribe to) is from the time of MGS2, he's a different more shadowy character in MGS4.

I think an action game (with the stealth elements also), would be good personally - and a nice change of pace. Does anyone remember playing as grey fox in one of the MGS releases? I thought that was pretty cool and it worked quite well back then so there's no reason they can't improve upon it in the same way they improved the controls and action of normal MGS.

I know, and for obvious reasons, it never gained it's first worldwide audience there.

Hah, that's a pretty ridiculous argument. Is it odd when there are American games on Japanese consoles? |
My point is games made in Japan generally come out there first, in Japanese-made consoles. It'd be odd if this game came out first in Japan in a non-Japanese console.
At any rate, I don't give a damn. The only console I have is the NDS.
