no dice. on the daemontool forums there is a thread on arma2 and apparently this method requires DT Pro, not Lite.

Well, if you have problems hard-ending a task, can't you use for example :

taskkill /f /im notepad.exe

I might have some problems with my registry as well. When I mount the arma2 mini-image, my virtual drive does not display the name of what is mounted. See the image below:

Mini-images just ahve the necessary info, nothing more. I've used miniimages that didn't even have a label or icon and they worked great to pass the securom checks.

When I use the kill YASU method, I get a "YASU is not responding" message from windows as well. This is after clicking "no" to the "are you sure you want to terminate" YASU, but clicking "End Program" when it pops up.

+1,
there's something really bad in controls, not influenced by vsync or axes sensitivity, and 50+ fps is a dream....

I Found forcing V-sync off in the Nvidia control panel fixed the mouse lag completely for me. Give it a try it may work.

Teniak does FADE kick in? since u r using 0s for ur serial for the final patch. for the beta patch, FADE will kick in if u use 0s.

The mission failed is problably because you got pirated version. It´s suppose to happen, and the mission continues after that event.

btw; you should use a "spoiler" thingy to cover that up.

Link ?
I can only see threads where it says that it depends on the chipset+OS whether current YASU works or not.
No matter if lite or Pro.

meh , the game is really filled with bugs and doesnt look THAT great
nonethless i'd rather have good performance and little bugs than graphics , but damn ..

i was doing the parachute tutorial on expert (which is easier here than in America's Army imo) and i was going sideway to stall and lower myself atop the entry zone and bag , i hanged ..
the fucker just hoverd there and some subtitles about going too far out of and being lost or some shit like that appeared like i missed it completely .
and in the first tutorial the controls inverted out of the blue ..

i mean shit , OF didnt have these things back in the day , ok the controls needid some getting used to but it was still a good and reliable game.

well , after 30 mins or so , with 800x600 on medium (core 2d @ 2ghz , 1gram , 8600gt ) i wasnt really impressed with overall performance since it didnt look that good and the island wasnt that big , not to mention the dodgy controls and mouse lagging far fucking behind , disabling the v-sync probably would have worked but since i'm not planing on to playing it online i shift+deleted it .

it's not a bad game tho , it's probably the best warfare experince there is , and more realistic than OF 2 . but you need time and patience and whole lot of interest in this kind of game .

I get the same feeling. Sort a got fed up with it due to the order system. It's way to complex. I guess if you are in to hard core battle sims it's great. I just don't have the patience for it at the mo.
