You're so badass, it's just great fun to kick ass everywhere you go.

I can imagine it getting a bit repetitive over time, but I'm pretty far from reaching that point Smile

You can do really awesome stuff.. like running at breakneck speed and somersaulting over a car and grabbing it during the move then run up the side of a skyscraper with the car in hand and throw it at a military helicopter!

Nice!!! That sounds awesome! I cannot wait to try this out for myself.

I am interested in the story! Nothing like a good virus story, a la Doomsday! Should be good fun!

I see that a lot of people are complaining about the enemies being dumb in this game, et cetera.

I absolutely could not care less. Yeah, I like challenging games, but I can also enjoy dumb games. In this game, you seriously look like the fucking god of all evil, with the sort of shit that you can do. Considering how outrageously powerful the game makes you, honestly, I don't care that the enemies are idiots; I just want to fuck shit up.

Correcting people since 2007 even if they're not wrong.

Multiplayer apparently got cut a while ago; http://xbox.joystiq.com/2008/03/30/prototypes-multiplayer-gets-cut-and-we-bleed/

Well, it's the 9th now, and the game is now available in the US, hopefully we'll see a release sometime soon Smile

So that the Stealth part of the game where you don't have to mindlessly kill people can be a bit more viable?

Well, obviously me.

I find the silent assassin way more appealing. The developers did promise that you can do full frontal, or stealthily from behind.

Maybe this game is using that new Protection Suite PPE v1.0 (PPE is Paranoid Publisher Edition):

Code:
This Protection Suite allows publishers to protect their investment by applying multiple protections on the same product, such as every DRM variation, Securom, Safedisk, Starforce, Fade, Custom Triggers, Tages, Codewheel and many other popular protections. PPE allows to use up to 100 protections on a single game.

They might still deliver on 'stealthily from behind', its just that you'll be sneaking up to a stupid enemy instead of a smart one Wink

If you're looking for a stealth game, this is not it.

Damn motherfucker, wait till Bill or Steve reads this. Then it will be reality. Then if Steve reads it first we'r fucked but atleast the program will eventualy be beautifull but it will not be used mainstream cause it's fucking expensive. If Bill finds out first, then ofcourse the programm will be done tomorrow and the final patch withing 10 years. So either way we have 10 years before it will hit the games Very Happy

Back when our hero still had a white hoodie, the devs said that you could play stealthily if you wanted to.

I'm not looking for a stealth game ala Splinter Cell, but simply another fun way to play the game.

Some guy posted this on the official Prototype forums:

Quote:
i am running a rather powerful system so it isnt the best indicator for everyone but i havent seen anyone else post their system performance

System:
Vista Ultimate SP2
Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83Gh (overclocked to 3.2Gh)
4Gb RAM
Nvidia Geforce GTX 285

Settings:
Resolution - 1980x1020
AA - 4x
Vsync - On
Shadow detail - High
Graphic Detail - High

i have played through the first mission only so far and for some reason my FRAPS wasnt working with it, it was however perfectly smooth gameplay through the whole mission, i was not able to notice any drop in framerate

controls needed some configuring to suit how i like to play, i am using keyboard and mouse, but that was easily done
