This game requires Vista SP2 or XP SP3. SP2 for Vista is not out on Microsoft Update for Russia. I don't like your "l33t" language.
No, we have no bears on the streets here in Russia.

^Indeed. It does NOT require SP3.

Comments on the official boards say that the port is really good, the controls are decent though they may feel like they were specified for a controller, but you can play with kb&m just fine.

There is a shop just down the street from me that says they will have the PC version tomorrow. But they always release games before the street date to trusted customers.
Personally I think the release is irrelevant considering it's almost a certainty that the groups already have a copy, it's cracking the protection that's taking time.

Well you might be right as the latest SecuROM (Far Cry 2 1.03 and ArmA 2 1.01 and beta from what I've noticed so far.) doesn't work correctly with YASU or DTE albeit there's that workaround with forcing the YASU process to shut down thus preventing SecuROM from detecting that it's running.

Well, create a new .txt file, but then change the name to something.bat (make sure you don't have known extensions set to hidden)
I should have posted this to ArmA's thread, it's useless here. Oh, wait it's not very useful anyway, lol !

yeah, or run notepad, paste whatever inside, select 'all files' in the "save as type" dropdown, and type something.bat in the filename field. no need to fuck around with extensions and shit.

Activision sent out a press release announcing that PROTOTYPE is now available in North America for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
You are the PROTOTYPE: Alex Mercer – a genetically mutated man without memory, armed with amazing shape-shifting abilities, hunting to discover what created you and determined to make those responsible pay. As Alex, gamers tear through a densely populated contemporary New York City moving with free-roaming Parkour-style fluidity, consuming anybody that gets in his way…assuming their physical form, memories and abilities. Fueled by a three-way war between Alex, the Blackwatch Military Special Forces and a viral outbreak known as the Infected, players venture into a deep, dark conspiracy 40 years in the making!

Yo can say what you want about the IA, but Prototype is receiving really good reviews.
4.5/5 - GamePro
9/10 - PSW Magazine UK
4/5 - PS3 Informer

There's a topic on w-bb, but I really doubt it's real, no links yet.
