I'm having the same problem as you Garus, since RF:G, my 360 has been getting Disc Unreadable all the time. It was just pure luck I managed to get it to read this and RF:G, so I could install them. Not that it matters now, my 360 RROD'd.

my 360 had got to where it wouldn't read any disc i burned at home (always burned at 4x, couldn't slow it down any more) and had gotten to where some of the stuff i burned at 2.4x on my plextor at work were skipping and having problems. sunday it just all of a sudden quit reading any copies. i took it apart and adjusted the laser on it and now it's playing everything again, even the copies it didn't want to play before.
if you have a digital voltmeter and you aren't scared to take apart your xbox it's really simple to do. took me a total of 15 mins from taking it apart to putting it back together

I might need to do this. My xbox absolutely will not read anything besides newly burned Verbatim or Sony discs. It cannot read Memorex. Is there a good step by step tutotial online?

this is what i used

you'll need a small flat head like you use on eyeglasses. my brother told me i could use a steak knife but i had the eyeglass screwdriver handy so i used it. mine was at 4.88 by default and a small adjustment dropped it to 4.18. counter-clockwise lowers and clockwise increases. the lower the number the higher the voltage. i have read and was also told to make small adjustments and then test. a SMALL adjustment on the screw will make a big change.

Thanks. Out of curiosity, did your drive spin discs fast/loud for a little bit and then it would spin slow/silently? I have a very quiet drive it sounds like there is not disc in there except occasionally it spins fast for like 3 or 4 seconds and then returns back to slow/silent state.
Unless I insert an original xbox 360 game disc. With an original disc, it always spins fast/loud. I would much rather have it spin fast/loud.

I still think the game is great, but some missions are really tedious. It isn't fun anymore when you do the same thing for 30 minuets and it just won't end. The time restraints now and then are also very frustrating. I imagine the devs wanted to make it challenging, but imo time challenges make something irritating istead of challenging. I never liked being forced to play like a maniac because it had to be done in X minutes, this game at times makes me feel the same thing.

yea mine sounded pretty much like that. i dont think it was so much the disc spinning making noise as much as it was the laser trying to read and constantly adjusting itself before giving up and then getting quiet.

Mine seemed ok , was a pretty bad boss though. even on medium I got the achievement for not dieing in the campaign so the my only complaints are it was fairly easy and repetitive
Game was enjoyable though , not enjoyable enough to get the 60 odd web targets I have left though

i'm having a hard time getting them to pop up but it seems to go a lot faster if you just ride around in a helicopter. of course some ass always has to kill the target right as i land

Yeah same problem as me , even with the whiplash and essentially leaping out the chopper mid flight and trying my best to target him on the way down. By the time I get down to the ground he's dead , or I grab the wrong guy and an infected kill him while I toss some poor soul into the distance , So kinda gave up 
Helicopter + infected vision is good for using the water towers to grind xp points though for anyone who's not finished or wants an the unnatural selection achievement
