...I have a controller. I just prefer kb/m in this game, and I don't see how it would be less tedious with a controller - 6 actions just to get across 3 blocks.

Thats actually my screen with settings on max, if you look some of the soldiers arms do look like that. I'm surprised the didn't bother touching that up for the cutscene cause it looks horrible.

Well, the game is a lot of fun. It is fast paced and the moves are great. The graphics are a mess if I must be blunt. I am seeing the X360 was a major player in Prototype's architecture. If they were going to make a X360 and PC version separate it would have been 2 totally different texture looking games. Even though the textures on the PC are a little bit better they are still poor for todays PC standards and down right awful in a lot of areas. There are small touches that look great mixed in with the muddy textures. The audio IS HORRIBLE! How did this audio get through QA. It's like the audio guy did this in his house up stairs between his 2 infants rooms and didn't want to wake them! Hopefully it will get fixed in a patch because I am missing parts of the story because it is so hard to hear.
With that said the control is good and I am very interested in the story. So far the lock on feature is nicely done. The running up walls and then springing off to do some nice wrestling moves is nicely done. The Power Selection Wheel is nice and welcome because trying to choose from all those powers is tough without it. I am about 2 hours into the game and so far I am glad I installed it. It runs super smooth at 1680x1050 maxed settings but how could it not with the erratic texture quality. No where near GOTY material, but over all a nice action game which will probably get better with more moves introduced as I go through it.
So far I give the game a 6.5 out of 10.

Select [EXTRAS] and then [CHEAT CODE] from the Main Menu. Enter the code Right, Right, Left, Down, Up, Up, Up, Down to unlock the Body Surf ability.

changing sound configuration to 7.1 speakers does fix the sound volume issue.
btw i heard that this issue happens even on the console version.

So far good game - not for hardcore gamers. Graphic is average - should be better on PC.
No problem with playing on my gamepad - Chillstream PC and 1920x1200 res.

Alright, i just finished the game. (without cheating)
I really liked it. It doesn't have great graphics but it's fun. I recommend this game to everyone who loves devil may cry. oh god... i need to get some sleep now :>...

Anyway, this shit is getting boring and repetitive. Only the story is what is pushing me, to finish this.
What the fUCk? I have no offensive powers and must take down 4 tanks, 4 APCs, shitload of hunters and a bunch of Black Watch cunts. Just sooo. fucking hard.
Am I the only one who thinks Medium is more like Hard/Brutal in some missions?

I'm blown off with this game. Love it.
The graphics are not as bad as people say, sure the textures are muddy, but you don't notice them since you're gliding 100km/h through the air. They are only noticable in the cutscenes.
The moves are great, cutscenes are decent, I have no problem with audio (I can hear everything). Side-missions are pretty cool, but OH MY FUCK are some of them hard.
There were these 2 that I SWEAR you have to do at least 20 times to get gold medal, and some require max upgrades. (One with jumping- you have to get 21 seconds to gold, w/o all upgrades for dash it's impossible; and second- when you  Spoiler: | lose all your powers |
and you have to kill 80 military guys with a tank. If you don't have tank driving to max, you'll die almost instantly).
Overall, this game is one of the best I played this year.

Sigh - the final boss fight brought this game down from monumentally epic to cheating trash...

The only thing InFamous has that Prototype does not is the polished architecture. And the textures are much clearer, 'cause Prototype ones were cut because of xbox360's limitations. And blood. Prototype has BLOOD, GORE, LOTS OF BLOOD.
They're pretty much on the same level if you'd ask me.
