Think this could be a nice topic for stand-up comedy fans.

Any good stand-up released in the last 2 years, that you would recomend?

ANYTHING by Eddie Izzard, my favorite stand-up comedian.

I liked Jim Gaffigans King Baby which is from 2007 he's weird in a cool way.

Demetri Martin is great if you catched his recent sketch show, plenty of stand-up in it.

Ricky Gervais, Dave Chapelle

The Just For Laughs festival is always hilarious. All the funniest comedians from around the world come to preform at JFL (its held in Montreal sometime in the summer).

But its shown on TV. I'm sure you could find some rips of it.

I don't really 'roll with the times', so I only know old ones. Chris Rock, Eddie Murphy (especially RAW) and still brilliant Richard Pryor.

be sure to check on youtube before downloading entire sets
he's got one joke, repeated in variations for cheap laughs
youtubing a few jokes before getting a full set is a good idea anyway.. all comedy is not for everybody
like i didn't post zack galifianakis cos most people just don't get it

Most of the best guys have been mentioned already, I'll just add Dave Chappelle, some of his stuff is hilarious. His series is awesome as well.

Bill Hicks - amazing

George Carlin - obviously a legend among comedians, you must watch his hbo specials if you haven't seen them.

Richard Pryor - The one guy i'll rank above Carlin

Are you joking? His stand up act is retarded.....Dane Cook: Vicious Circle is so fuckin stupid (not to mention its the same act that he originally did at Just for Laughs and didn't get very many laughs at JFL).
Guy sucks as a stand up.

As an comedic actor however, he can be funny. Good Luck Chuck is fuckin funny. Tho that movie he did with dipshit Jessica Simpson was beyond horrible.
