WoW! I just shocked at all the people drooling for this game! It must be "da sh*t" if it looks like a glorified version of Europa Universalis 1/2 - both were good but since HoI is modern WorldWar I guess it has a huge following. Wouldn't something of this calibre be utterly tiny? I mean, there isn't massive textures or animations me thinks so it'll be ~200mb or less. Still.. I'll be quite interesting to see even a CLONE release and then gauge people's impressions..

The file on eDonkey is an empty ISO file, which is not surprising considering how quickly it downloaded.

Actually it does. The compression used in e... err, "this program we're using" makes it download faster, at least to my understanding. I can verify that it's a fake and it did download in less than an hour at an average speed of 5 kb/s. That's impossible without some sort of compression.

Hehe, but I deleted the file before I decided to fiddle around with it. Smile

Now there's a new file floating around in you-know-what, and this time it's downloading so painfully slowly that it may even be the real thing.

I doubt the real thing would show up on some noob filesharing client before it shows up on newsgroups, irc, or bit torrent sites.

When it takes such a gay-ass slow time to shot itself, the only means "particulars" have to rlz something like a homemade iso, is kazaa (*COUGH* übershit *COUGHHH*) or eMule, Overnet, etc...

Let's hope it's 4 real =D

Meh, I want a quality release, not one made by some random idiot, although this game is extremely easy to copy.

edit: Nevertheless, IF and when such a release arrives, I'm going to flame those fucking lazy bastards who make up the release groups for taking such a long time. Its getting to the point where its pathetic-a bunch of nerds bragging in their nfo's about how great they are, yet they can't even be bothered to make a timely release of a non-protected game that's in the top 10 bestsellers on amazon.

edit #2: Lol since I have nothing better to do I dled the u kno what program and started downloading it-this program is a joke. Its even more pathetic than Kazaa.
