LOL blunt...

Rudolph you can get all your info at the Bohemian forums plenty there instead of me going over old ground with card stuff ugh done too much of late at the main games forums.

Immunity: You can turn say locked server filter on in the configs, and possibly the other filters that u want, its the only way I also get mine to work as the ingame switch does not flag any code in the game what so ever lol, not even hardly gfx settings sometimes Very Happy crazy shit devs eh..

Still patch in 2 days weeeeee....

Im even surprised its not out yet Razz

There was a patch for the German version, correct? Are they smart enough to release the game with the patch included, or is the patch for all versions, including the not yet released one? Excuse my ignorance, i haven't been following this game very closely.

Never played ARMA1, I did play Flashpoint, though that was so many years ago, atleast it feels like an eternity Razz Back on my old 500mhz Pentuim3, with a massive 256 megs of ram and a ATi Rage 128 Laughing

Anyway, watched some clips on Youtube, setting up sniper missions and tank battles looks like alot of fun. Is that easy btw, creating your own missions?

There is alot of new logic and editor stuff now in arma2 making it even better than arma 1's

If you want to get into nice mission building your gonna have to read a bit, or rather learn scripting in arma for the fancy event handling etc etc. All in all though SiN, yes its easy to grasp, and the only limit is your imagination.

There is even now dialogue stuff possible, so you could now add files for scripted voice events and on screen dialogue events with far more variations/possibilities than arma1 had.

Arma community is large, you will see some great stuff being made after they all settle into the new release. Very Happy

http://armed-assault.de/news/landtex---landschafts-addon-released.html

Slight texture modification, unsure if it's just landscaping or actual texture changes.

http://armed-assault.de/news/arma2projekt-caa1.html

Not released yet but if the islands are able to be ported over I guess the ArmA campaign and missions can be as well.
(Similar to how many OfP missions were ported over to ArmA and then redone in that CWR modification.)

A different scene group won't use another groups key.
